Run short, but good width. NOT LEATHER, fix the description.
NOT leather shoes. The only leather part is soles, the upper is marked with a "diamond" symbol, which means other materials. The description stated leather shoes. I'm attaching a picture of Blochs size 8 in comparison with Capezio 7.5, they are the same length. So the Blochs run small lengthwise, but as you see in the picture, their width is much more generous than Capezios'.Blochs also came with extra rubber sole material, if you want them non skid , you can take them to a shoe shop they will glue it for you.I m putting 3 stars for the misleading description.November 2, 2017, Edited: We reordered Blochs in size 8.5 for my daughter and they fit perfectly. She wears 7.5 in street shoes. Thanks for the free returns! I'm adding two more stars, they fixed the description to a "manmade". Great job.

Get a full size up!!
My only issue is the size chart is wrong. Ordered wrong the first time and had to send it back. Then I ordered 1 full size up from my foot measurement and now that one fits spectacularly. Otherwise, Really good quality and comfortable.

These shoes are exactly what my daughter needs for the plays she's in. Bloch makes a high quality shoe, even at the entry level shoes these are. Ignore the Amazon sizing chart, it is not accurate for these shoes. I didn't realize it with the pair I first ordered for her, until they came and she tried them on. According to Amazon's shoe sizing chart (which is the one linked to these shoes), I ordered the right size (a US women's 7M), but the shoes were too small (they sent the size I ordered, so it wasn't the company's fault. I went to the Bloch website and looked at their sizing chart; it shows that the manufacturers size 7 (which is what I ordered and received), is actually a US size 6. So, we received the 7's today, they are going back tomorrow when the UPS place is open, and I just ordered the 8M's. Once she actually gets to wear them, I'll update this and let you know what she says about comfort level. My kids have had other Bloch shoes for dance classes before, so I'm not too worried.

Do NOT buy these!! They do not have the sizing even close to correct. The shoes are cheap. The come with scratches. The first order was WAY to small and I had already ordered 1 full size larger to be stretched fit. I wear a 7.5, ordered an 8 5 and could not get my foot in the shoe. I re-ordered a 9and it was 1/2" smaller than the first one! They have no idea what they are even shipping and the quality is very poor!

Toe box is very cramped. Try on at home for several hours before deciding.
Toe box is really cramped. It felt allright when I test tried them at home, but as soon as I started using for the play I was in, the pain started. Even bought shoe stretchers which helped some, but was in agony during the entire show run.

Not wide enough
This is a nice show for my middle schoolers with a wide foot.Unfortunately, I will be returning them. They are not wide enough and worse, I paid for "new" shows but they have clearly been worn completely with sweaty toe marks on the insole and scuffs on the sole.If you have a very wide foot, this isn't the ideal dance shoe.
