This was my go-to jazz class shoe back a gazillion years ago when I was studying seriously. Still the best quality shoe to give you necessary support AND allow you to to point, turn and jump in almost any exercise class. Most important, I have wide/bunion'd feet and they are comfortable!
Good quality, good arch support, and great for Zumba would buy them again.! I normally wear a 71/2 or 8 and had to buy a 9 .!!! They run very small so go up one full size for US fit. The return exchange was very simple and they sent out the 9 quickly.They’re a good quality dance shoe would definitely buy them again! For dancing Zumba you want to be able to have a shoe like these that will glide on the dance floor ball foot so you don’t twist your knees and hurt yourself!
Not accurate sizing. Whatever your child's size is add 1.5 sizes up for accuracy. My daughter is a 4 to 4.5 and I ordered a 5.5 and its slightly small. I will need to order a 6.5 for hit to fit and grow with her.
After much research, I chose these for use in Zumba and Line Dance classes. On the advise of other reviewers, I ordered large - a size 10 over my normal 8 1/2 to 9. The shoes fit perfectly, and after a brief breaking in period are very comfortable. Wish I'd had these before. I am a very aggressive dancer and have had both knees scoped due to damage that probably could have been avoided with the proper footwear. With these shoes I've had no knee pain at all, and can feel improvement throughout the rest of my body as well. They allow smooth pivoting but also provide the right amount of traction for confident movements. They seem to be made very well, and if they hold up I will definitely order again.
I wore these shoes for the first time in my Zumba class last night & what a huge difference it made! I was just sporting a pair of Nikes before and had a hard time with the turns and twists that Zumba requires since my feet kept sticking to the floor.I like the support these offer so far too, I think the split sole not only helps with some of the moves, but also with giving some arch support.So after a one hour long, high tempo class I am very happy with my purchase.The only thing I will say is that the sizing is confusing. I followed what others said here and ordered a size & a half up. I am an 8 1/2 normally so I got the 10.I have a slightly wide foot, which is why I went a size plus a half & not just one size. My toe is in the right place in the shoe, but I do need to lace them quite snugly or they feel a little loose at the heel. Even with that, I think the 9.5 would have been too snug so I'd rather wear a thicker sock & lace tight than have sore toes.(Two sizes up would have been too large!)All in all this a great shoe for Zumba at a great price. I give them a 4.5 out of 5 stars!
I've worn this Bloch style shoe for well over 10 years now. This is my 3rd (4th?) pair. I like them for dance but I also wear them as a daily sneaker too. I wore these on a trip to Europe recently because they were my only broken in shoes and they worked great! My feet never got sore or tired. I even wore them hiking and around the cobblestone cities.Note: I DO wear them with orthotics for arch support. Also, be sure to order UP in size. I am usually an 8.5-9 and these are a size 10.
I probably bought at least 5 pairs of dance sneakers (from Ryka, Capezio, etc.) to try before deciding on this one. I used to wear regular sneakers to my Zumba class and my knees would start to hurt. I wear size 8 in sneakers and 7.5W in dress shoes. I bought size 9 in these and they fit just right. The quality is great and my feet feel supported. They allow me to twist and turn with ease but there’s enough traction that I don’t get wiped out. LOL
