I really enjoy wearing these dancing shoes! Such a relief on my sore, tired feet from the flats I was dancing in. I go Contra dancing (like square dancing but folk dancing in lines as opposed to squares) once or twice a week, two to fours hours at a time. I read lots of reviews before picking this very brand and style of shoe, so I will give you 'dance shoe' two-cents worth. This really is a great dance shoe, if you can call it that, because the shoe really fits as a tight sock. I recommend buying half-size smaller than your feet as they do stretch. I like the beige color as opposed to the black as you can wear it with anything. You can barely see them on your feet, if you are Caucasian, like me. Highly recommended.

Runs small, excellent jazz shoe
These are the best jazz shoes my daughter has ever worn. She loves the fabric over leather. They do run small. I suggest ordering 2 or even 3 sizes bigger than what you normally wear.

Bought these for my 10yr. old granddaughter and she absolutely loves them! She wears a 2 1/2 bloch ballet slipper. Sizing was perfect. She needed jazz shoes for her leaps and turns class. Good Shoe but Difficult Sizing
My 9 year old daughter wears a 4 in tennis shoes/sneakers, but she is an 8 in this shoe. I had to purchase 3 times to get the right size. The shoe appears to be well made and good quality, but we won't need to use it until February 2024.

Kid size 2.5 foot fits in a Woman's size 5 perfectly
A Women's size 5 fit my seven year old daughter, who wears a child's size 2.5 shoe. She has longer toes, and they fill out the toe end of this shoe perfectly and snug, with no extra fabric leftover in the toes. If I had gone by the common street shoe rule (which is to buy a woman's shoe 2 sizes larger than her shoe size in kids, aka for her what would have been a size 4.5 Womans) then this particular shoe would have been too small and too tight on her toes. So this shoe seems to run at least a half size small, because her shoe size in this shoe is 2.5 sizes larger than her child shoe size. That could be due to the tight pull on nature of the style, however. I could probably order a size 5.5 for her so she has room to grow, but I'm hoping these stretch out a bit from use and going a size up won't be needed. If you are buying for a child, buy a size 2-2.5 sizes larger than your child's kid size shoe and be prepared to possibly exchange for a larger size.

Sizing is off!
My daughter wears a size 4 in sneakers & soccer cleats. I assumed theater shoes would be similar. I ordered size 4 & they were the smallest shoes. Had to order an additional pair in size 5 & eventually settled on a size 5.5 in theater shoes!Pic shows larger size 5 next to these size 4's.
