Long time ballroom dancer trying tap. This shoe works!
As a long time ballroom dancer, largely smooth, I wanted to try tap and not invest to heavily in dance shows. Now as any of you who’ve been through getting dancers shows which work, it’s a trial. And having access to the dance suppliers in NYC made life a lot easier.But not being able to get to NYC and try shows on for tap, I took the chance and ordered this pair online. Pay careful attention to the recommended sizing by Bloch. Because it works. So as a 10.5 men’s normal width, the recommended half size down fit perfectly.The shoe is more comfortable than your typical ballroom shoes which need a break in period to really. These are pretty comfortable to start. Look well made and I doubt I’ll be wearing them out anytime soon.Anyway, highly recommended.

Great quality, these shoes are stiff though. I wouldn’t recommend for a new tapper. Also my son is an 11 we bought 11 and he needed two pairs of thick socks, I should have bought a 10

Comfortable for flat and wide feet
Comfortable for flat and wide feet. No room for an arch insert or orthotic. Embarrassed to admit that I paid $113 b/c my son needed larger tap shoes right away -- over twice as much as if I had bought in a brick-and-mortar store. Reduced the number of starts only b/c of the extremely high price.
