These fit my son's wide feet better than any other shoe we have tried in his three years of dance. The wide width is truly very wide. I'm glad that I upgraded him to a quality ballet shoe too. The leather is so soft but thicker than his previous shoes. The string is elastic which allows the shoe to flex and move more with his foot too.
These are excellent quality shoes and the price was right. Before you order measure your dancer's foot and use the sizing chart. My child has very narrow feet and even the most narrow size was a touch wide so be aware of the width measurements as well. The strings can be snugged up to make a tighter fit. The color is great and they work well as beginner ballet shoes. I would recommend them.
My dancer wears a size 11.5 and these fit her nicely with a small amount to grow into. They look nice and we have not had issues at all.
After trying on LOADS of ballet shoes, these were the winners. They fit as they were supposed to and the quality was really great. My daughter says they are comfortable and most importantly, her dance teacher approved!
The shoes are great, they seem perfect for our needs. But I ordered what Amazon had listed as a 12M and received a 12D, I expected a 12C. Amazon needs to hire a ballerina for a sizing training. They fit my son okay thanks to the drawstring, so I'm not too worried just a little annoyed. 5 stars for product, minus a couple for amazons lack of attention to widths.
Can't go wrong with Bloch dance shoes. Nice, snug, flexible fit. Does well for my four-years-old son for ballet and for jazz until his Bloch jazz shoes arrive.
