Shoe runs small, I normally wear a ladies' size 8 in regular shoes but I take a 9 1/2 in Bloch. I use them for Round Dancing (choreographed ball room dancing) and square dancing. They are comfortable and cool and very flexible and have pads on the bottom to make spins easier. They lace up for a better fit. They do not have a strong arch support.
I will begin why I gave a 4. First pair I ordered were size 6, my normal size, but in these were way to tight. I returned and ordered one whole size bigger 7 and they fit perfectly, so if you are a fitted 6, may want to even go 7 1/2. Perfect shoe for doing Zumba, light, wearable for all the moves, I think they are a great investment for my Zumba workout.
I just received these shoes today!! I listened to the previous reviewers and orders a whole size up and THEY FIT PERFECTLY!! I normally wear a 9.5 in sneakers, so I ordered a 10.5 and LOVE THEM.These shoes are soft and pliable. Perfect for the intricate dance steps in Zumba classes. I started out Zumba with heavy sneakers and I ended up with knee pain and almost twisting my knees. These shoes are lightweight and PERFECT!GREAT SHOES, BEAUTIFUL QUALITY! and I thank Amazon for making them AFFORDABLE!!
Very nice shoe, but they are too, too small. I bought an 8. I wear a 7.5 - 8.5 depending on the shoe. I took them to my Zumba class this morning and several of the ladies tried them on - from a size 5 to 8 and the folks with the smaller sized feet even thought they were probably too small. The instructor wears a 7.5 and did not think the toe box had enough room.What a shame that the manufacturer doesn't give an idea of the size. Amazon of course says its not their fault so I either have to pay to have them shipped back or try to sell them to someone.Buyer beware.
This shoes is cute, I'll give it that. However it is not good quality. The second day I wore it the bottom was coming off, n I didn't do anything too hectic in it. Poorly manufactured, very cheap material.
I got them in black/green in a full size bigger than my usual size after reading the other comments. They fit and look great. I also like the fact that they are super light. However, I am disappointed that the quality isn't very good. I own another pair of Bloch flats that I absolutely love but this pair of sneakers pales in comparison. The logo at the sole rubbed off after about 2 weeks. I also managed to pierce a hole through the front of the shoe (even though I keep my feet well pedicured!) after week 3. In addition, these shoes are kind of slippery and they do not offer much arch support. I do not see them as appropriate for any exhilarating physical activity. I had to return them slightly more than a month after I purchased them but Amazon seemed to have agreed to take them back. (Great customer service! Thanks, Amazon!)
I hurt my ankle doing Zumba in my regular tennis shoes, so I did some research and went to local dance studios to get recomendations. This shoe also came highly recommend by some ladies in my class, at the local dance shops, and on Amazon. I LOVE this shoe! My ankle feels great after an hour of Zumba, and they keep your feet nice and dry with their mesh. They don't hinder my movement at all!
