Had been looking for Prince-purple lower heeled shoes for quite some time. Most purple shoes were sky high heels for special occasions. These flats are very comfortable. They are a true regal purple. And shiny - because if you wear purple shoes, you want people to notice! The description said to go a half size up, so I did. They are a tiny bit long, but if I didn't size up, they may have been too tight.
I bought these shoes to replace the beloved leather ballerina shoes that I have worn into scraps as house slippers. On first try-on, they feel a lot like my old shoes; stiff, bumping my toes, and having the heel slip off when I walk.The soles are very nice. They are grippy on slick floors, which is a good thing. I started wearing leather ballerina slippers after taking a bad fall on my kitchen floor wearing cloth slippers with leather soles.I would not recommend these shoes to a person with bunions or other form of foot deformity. They are too stiff to be comfortable, unless you take them to a shoemaker and have them stretched in the right places.I found the reason why so many people say they are tight; They are mislabeled by Amazon. Printed inside the shoe is Euro size 39 1/2. This translates into an American size 9.The picture in the listing made the shoes look silver, but actually they are light grey.
