I use these for Zumba and love them. They have no special arch support but with the way they secure to your foot none is really needed. Great turn pad on the bottom of the shoe. I have noticed that the sizes seem slightly smaller now than when I first started purchasing them but I moved up a half size and they fit just fine.
I had cervical stenosis and had to stop dancing in shoes, and these were perfect for salsa, Bachata, merengue, hip-hop, Kizomba very flexible, dance shoe just don’t walk through puddles with them because the bottom has breathable souls, which is great for dancing. Be sure to bring an extra pair when it rains out! I’ve had the same pair for a year now and they’re still going.
They fit small and I had to go up a full size to a 5.5. The shoe is incredibly comfortable and fit well over my high arch. The only drawback is that they are slippery. I wore them on my wood floor and almost fell several times. Tile was more stable and carpet felt fine. Most of my home is wood so I may have to return them.
I bought these shoes for Zumba. I ordered a half size larger as advised for any dance shoe. The length fit perfectly but because I have a high arch I could not stand the tight fit. The tongue of the shoe is a tight elastic netting and I found I could not wear the shoe with or with out socks so I sent them back. It really is a shame because the shoe is attractive and the little bit I did wear them on a linoleum floor they seemed liked they would have worked.
I love these shoes! These shoes offer just the right about of support for my aging dancer feet. With the split sole they are extremely flexible. This flexibility easily allows me to fully point my feet for demonstrating combonations. They are also very comfort in demi-pointe and I do not lose my balance as one might in a thicker less flexible dance tennis shoe. I also like the low profile they do not look or feel bulky at all. I absolutely recommend this product!
These were way too small, and unfortunately I can't exchange as they were a gift for someone, and now the return window has passed. We originally bought a size 8 and they were way too big, so I returned those and got a half size smaller. But by the time I was able to get together with the recipient, just this weekend, the return exchange window is closed. So of course I'm just out money.
These are the absolute best shoe for ANY type of dance class/workout!!! I am a perfect Size 6 in every possible way (and have a very extensive shoe collection with several different designers to show it). I do have tiny feet with a very high instep, my right foot is slightly larger than my left and as stated a perfect fit/true to size as a 6m. I also suffer from moderate to severe foot pain due to neuropathy and 27+ years of wearing 3 inch heels/pumps for my career in the business world. The split sole seems to be the only thing that seems to help my foot pain. Bloch is the company that made all of my ballet shoes when I was a young girl to my teens. Love, love, love them! ❤️ Very well made for the price. I’d expect to pay more from other retailers and Bloch directly?!? Those questioning the tongue issue, I’d suggest and recommend going to a cobbler to have it corrected eg; as a regular shoe with tongue and laces! I’m hoping and expecting these to last me for many years of dance, Zumba and my other exercise dance classes!
