Beautiful Suede
This is a really nice looking, high quality boot! it has a short heel - under two inches, has a functional zipper on the side which makes putting the on and taking them off very easy. The bonus is it is waterproof although made with a beautiful, supple, suede leather. As others have mentioned it is a narrow fit which suits my narrow feet well! I have a high instep as well and the boots are very comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size up as recommended by Amazon and the boots fit perfectly! I would purchase again.

Narrow Toe
Narrow in the toe. Good looking show. Firm and sturdy while looking good to dress up or down. It's begins to get narrow at the foot pad of the big toe. Maybe a larger size would correct. I'm usually a 7.5 to 8. The 8 was too narrow. I have a M width foot, and do not usually have this issue in any shoes or heels.

Great bootie
A lot of comments about sizing- here’s my assessment. The size is consistent with my other Blondos. If you’re wearing a thick sock, you might want to size up. I wear 8 1/2 sandals, 9 in boots and ordered a 9. I wear thin cotton footies and they’re fine.In regard to the comments concerning 2 zippers and 1 not working, as with my other Blondos, one zipper is ornamental. If you look at the inside of the boot, you can see that one won’t work as there’s no sign of it inside the boot. It is not a malfunction of the boot.I like the boot and was particularly pleased about the great price as I paid twice as much at a high end department store 2 years ago for a similar boot, and felt great about that purchase too! Can’t beat this brand for water resistance, comfort and quality.

Great style but runs narrow
Very cute bootie with its slightly squared off "pointy" toe. I ordered my usual size and I struggled to get my foot inside. It definitely runs narrow. If you have slightly narrow feet, these would probably be perfect for you. I own a few other pairs of Blondo booties, same size, love them. This could be a 5 without the issues I've pointed out.

Zipper problem
I love Blondo boots. I have a few pairs. They are well made and comfortable . HOWEVER, there is a big problem with this pair. I was excited to see zippers both on the inside and outside of the boot. Having a high instep, this looked perfect. Unfortunately the outside zipper on both boots does not work. It won’t budge. I have tried repeatedly and for long periods to get the outside zipper down on both boots. I can struggle (I mean struggle) to get the boot on with only one zipper down. I can but it takes major effort. I can’t decide whether to return or fight it since the boots are beautiful. Ask that the zippers be checked before purchasing.Update: well, I'm an idiot. The outside zipper is not meant to work. If you carefully read the description, it clearly states. Sorry everyone. It is a beautiful boot.

Trust me, they run very small
Own a pair of Blondo Valli suede boots in size 7 and they are a perfect fit. This style, Samara, is very similar to the Valli but both the 7 and the 7.5 are very small and uncomfortable. What other reviewers stated is very accurate: even though most "sized up" as did I, they were manufactured poorly as regards size. Would have to try them on in a store to ever consider purchasing another pair. They are very good at accepting returns as I returned two pairs today......
