I have sprained my ankle so many times since my original sprain in basic training in the army in 1999. I used to love wearing 5 inch platform stiletto heels but I can't anymore so I searched for 3 inch wedges for a while that I can wear casually instead of flat sandals. I found these. Very light. Not tight at all but secure. I recommend these 100%!

Hope you have average to thick ankles...

My wife really liked the look and feel of these sandals but she can't really rate them for comfort because she couldn't get the velcro strap tight enough to keep the sandal on her foot without flopping when she walked. There is little to no adjustability with the velcro strap so if you don't have thin ankles you might be fine. Wish these had a better strap system, very cute on her!
