Better comfort with new soles
I have six pair of Malibu Play and Marley styles, and I will continue to wear and order more of them because they are so fun and comfy if I add inserts. I love the newer Super Smile style because of the following:1. Higher platform2. Non slip sole instead of the blue felt like soles on other styles that are extremely slippery.3. New sole inserts on Super Smile are removable and very nice (Play style doesn't even have removable soles).4. More rounded toe area.I added pics for comparison to Marley since those have removable soles. I have foot pain and so far I don't think I will need to replace the insole. The laces are attached elastic like Marley and very snug. I posted a video to demonstrate what it's like if you try to slip them on, since ease of putting them on is an issue for some. The heal does have a slight slippage while walking but so do all my other Malibus because the heals don't cup like athletic shoes. These are secure enough with tight laces and are very snug around the arch and below the toe area, but you can get a wide version if it's too tight. Very cute and comfortable shoes and I hope they start making them with fun patterns.

College football game shoe
I love Blowfish brand sneakers. This is my second pair and they are always very cute. I needed a shoe I could wear to a college football game where crimson and gray are the school colors. This red shoe worked well. The shoe is durable, TTS (I’m a true size 8), and I like that the heel is higher than a regular court type shoe. It was a very comfortable shoe with little to no break in required. The shoe is already laced as is and you can’t tie them or make them tighter. I would have liked to have been able to do that as my foot is on the narrow side and I often rely on laces to cinch the shoe. As a result, there was very slight slippage when walking. I was worried I would get blisters but I didn’t. In general they are comfortable and support felt good. However I did a lot of walking with them and might consider putting an orthotic to increase comfort—especially in my heel.

Wide toebox
These are perfect for me. They have a wide toe box but the rest of the shoe fits like a pretty much average foot. It is a little bit wider but if you have all around wider feet these may or may not be okay for you. I plan to buy more additional pairs.

NOT WASHABLE... EVEN FOR LIGHT SPOT CLEANING
I love the look, color and fit of these shoes. They're great! HOWEVER, I got a small smudge on the top of the toe after only wearing them a few times: tried to gently wipe it off with a wet rag and mild soap and all the color wiped off :( Not sure how to fix that and can't find the exact color to try to re-dye it. So now one of my basically brand new shoes looks crappy and worn. I'm so bummed :(

Change is not always good
The Blowfish comfort is gone with these newer shoes. The older ones were so roomy and comfy. My feet tend to swell and the older ones did not cut into them. These were super stiff and I have horrible blisters after an hour of wearing them. The insoles are so thick that there’s zero room for your toes. I am so disappointed. I’ve owned so many pairs of the older style and I’m so sad that they’ve changed.
