Boot that will go everywhere and very comfortable!
I just got my blundstone laceups yesterday and so far I love them. I wear shoes anywhere from size 7 to size 8 in US women’s depending on the brand. Mostly a 7.5 in most shoes. My foot is slightly wide with very high arches. I use custom orthotics to avoid plantar fasciitis and I do not like my toes to feel crunched up. I ordered a 7.5 in these and they fit perfectly. The toe box is not extra roomy like a Keen Pyrenees or Merrell Moab….But it is wide enough that I do not feel crunched up at all and they do not make your foot look gigantic. The insole is removable so my orthotics fit perfectly. They are lightweight and feel great. It even says they are washable! Wow! Only one concern: they do not smell like leather. The smell is more like rubber and not a pleasant smell, even though the description says leather. Other than this one concern, right now I would say they might be the best “everywhere” boot I have ever bought. They are pricey, but might indeed be worth the cost. Time will tell. In the photos I replaced the shoestrings with elastic strings so I could more easily slip them on and off. If these boots don’t hold up I will revise my review.
