I have 2 pairs of these and they’re great. Very comfortable, I like that I can tighten them. I use them for my different water fitness classes and they work perfect for running and jumping around in the water. They do run big. I wear a size 8 in sandals and 8.5 in running shoes but in these I wear a size 7. Even when dry the 7 is comfortable and not tight.
Updated: I have two shoes that I alternate wearing to water aerobics 3x per week. I wash them in a washer and air dry. I also have cruised with them, wearing at the pool and in beaches. Even with all the chlorine and washing exposure, they are holding up perfectly.One has developed a 1/4" separtion near the toes but I consider that just age and normal wear. Just bought a third pair to cycle into the rotation.Also I have a condition that reduces feeling in my feet. With bare feet I am very unsteady. These shoes help me be safer on wet pool decks.Original: Purchased for water aerobics so I wanted a snug fitting shoe. I wear a 9 1/2 so bought a 9 first but too large. Returned for an 8 and was a little long, but seemed OK after wearing a few times realized I would trip on the toe while walking so bought a 7. It was perfect. I like the lacing to adjust the fit.
I have a beach vacation coming up and was hoping to find some water shoes. I liked these the best of any that I tried - they are well made, look good, and are comfortable. They seem to run big. My default size is a women's 11B, but the 11 and the 10 in this shoe were too long. The size 9 was the right length, but it felt small overall (a little too narrow) and was not comfortable to wear. I gave them 4 stars because they are nice shoes, but the sizing didn't work for me.
I have extreme bunions and super narrow heels. These shoes hug my heels and have a roomy toe box for my bunions. The other PLUS is that the elastic laces are not so long that I can snug them up, secure the tip of the laces on their Velcro spot on top of the shoe, and I am ready to go. I love these shoes. I think they likely run a little long - but that is what has made them so comfortable for my weird feet. Planning on using them for Pilates and maybe beach shoes. Woot!
these water shoes fit perfectly and are not nearly as ugly as some others. Nice job!
I would have given these 5 stars, because they were so comfortable, but this particular pair was sewn together poorly.. not a big deal for a $20 pair of water shoes..however the laces came right out of the little velcro tab at the end on one of the shoes, on the first try-on, and so I shoved the laces back up into the little tab, but it's because the tab wasn't fully sewn over the laces, and I could tell by comparing it to the other shoe. So for that I had to take 2 stars off bc the tab is how you velcro the dangling laces to the shoes during wear. Very surprising from this brand so I think these must be a defective pair. I'll probably send back.
What I like about these water shoes is they really stay on your feet well. Even when walking on slippery creek rocks they stay in place. Great for the money.
