Perfect for the Pacific Northwest!
Super comfy boots that are nice and sturdy. Definitely waterproof! Rubber bottom treads grip well on slippery wet leaves. Deep tread does tend to hold onto mud a bit, but worth it for the extra grip in slippery areas. The elastic on the sides is good quality and was a key feature for me as I prefer boots I can slip on quickly and kick off easily when I’m going in and out to walk the dog or check the mail. The only annoying thing I’ve noticed is that the spot where the rubber is split on the inside of the boot shaft tends to grab onto thicker socks when I’m putting the boots on. Not a deal breaker though when compared to the grip, comfort, and ease to take off.

Do not buy, terrible quality
So cute, but terrible quality. After minimal use the upper separated from the sole making a 2 plus inch gap where the foot is exposed. The back tag for helping you get them on also ripped. What a disappointment from bogs.

Great boots
These boots are true to size and super comfortable. I wore them in wet grass and mud the very first day out of the box for approx 16 hrs straight. Walked a few miles. Feet were in surprisingly good shape at the end. Ive owned many pairs of cheaper boots. These are worth the spend.

I usually love Bogs. I like this boot because it has great tread and is entirely waterproof and has a small ankle opening so that water/stuff doesn't get in. (This makes it more difficult to put on than the boots-with-side-handles, but I figured that.) However, I bought these in August, and while I only wore them fairly infrequently in the autumn and maybe 3x/week in the spring, by early May the sides have already split where it meets the sole. So if I step into a puddle/creek my feet are now all wet. I bought these boots to have not-wet feet. Don't know if this is specifically a chelsea-boot-quality issue or a recent BOGS quality decline what but I'd recommend a different shoe if you are looking for something that lasts! This is the first pair of their I've had trouble with and our family has gone through many of their boots & shoes. Bummed

Factory Rejects? Two pairs arrived damaged
First, I love these boots. They are comfortable and cute. But the first pair (sold as new) I ordered arrived with the pull tabs on the ankle cut off. I returned them as damaged and ordered a replacement pair (also sold as new). The second pair arrived with the same issue - someone had cut off the ankle pull tabs. Not like they were missing but someone cut them off after manufacturing.Makes it a little more challenging getting them on your feet and definitely not ideal. Seems like these might be imperfect or factory rejects that have been marked by BOGS removing these handles and are now being sold as new. Amazon refunded me for the damaged item (amazing customer service) but after two pairs having the same problem, thought I would warn buyers of potential issue with supplier.

Perfect! Small at the top to help keep stuff out but still easy enough to get on for my wide feet. Reviews said something about missing piece to help pull on, nothing was missing and the strap is built in it’s not like someone could just cut it off.

These are comfortable but can be a little slippery while driving and when you first walk into a building. They are completely water proof and I am happy with the boots. They are very cute as well. They don’t make my feet look huge like some boots can. In my experience they are true to size (I am a size 6) while still being able to wear a thicker sock.
