Fabulous boots, they keep me dry and are a breeze to slip on. I have chickens and ducks, work outside all of the time. I live on the side of a mountain. They have good traction, very comfortable fit. I actually bought a second pair to have in reserve. They are much better in comparison and price point than my LaCrosse rubber boats, and Muck boots.
Perfect fit! Comfortable, warm and soft but tough enough to handle my muddy corral! Easy to rinse off and waterproof! Look great too!
I waited to write my review until I field-tested these boots for a while. They have kept my feet dry in wet environments and the cushion makes them comfortable enough to wear long distances. The adjustability allows me to be able to tuck my pants in to keep them dry when needed. I tried many boots before deciding on this pair, and am happy with my purchase.
I'll preface my review with I haven't actually worn these in the barn muck yet. I have wide, problem feet and was concerned about width and enough support. They seem to be generous in size and plenty wide enough. I usually wear a size 9 wide. I had considered ordering a size up, but when I looked at their sizing measurements, it seemed like I just might make it in my normal size. I took the chance and ordered a 9 and they fit, true to size, and plenty of width. I might even be able to put my inserts in. As I wear them, I will update my review on comfort and durability. So far I'm really happy with my purchase.
I have had these boots for about half a year now and wore them a few times when weather warranted. It is a very comfortable boot and easy to put on and take off. It is also pretty stylish as far as these go. The boot body is quite large, as if expecting you to wear several layers of very thick socks. If you have small calves, you can probably size down at least two sizes, but I bought my usual size. The calf body is large enough for most calves - I think my calves are larger than a lot of women but they fit comfortably. Also, these boots are not overly heavy.When shoveling snow or walking around it, my feet were kept warm and dry after multiple hours of use. I had no need for extra socks.I walked in them for up to 3-4 miles in one outing without getting blisters, but by the time I got up to that distance, I did find a few minor comfort issues - a slight occasional digging into the back of my calf of the tab between the boot body material and the top material, and the beginning of warming/rubbing on my feet bottoms due to the extra room in the boot body, and finally, exacerbation of plantar fasciitis systems.
Comfortable, absolutely waterproof, height below knees perfectly. Colors and designs very attractive. Would totally recommend them!
I got these boots on sale for a little over $50. However, there were two of the same foot. The price suddenly went up to $150+ a few days after I purchased them but they refused to send me the boot for the right foot. If I wanted one of each (left and right) I had to pay the higher fee. Shame on Amazon and Shame on Bogs. Too bad, they are good boots.
