Must have if you deal with cold/wet conditions
Bogs are rated at either -30 or -40 degree temperatures depending on the style. They are the only winter boots I wear and consider them a must have for Michigan's cold winters. My last pair of Bogs lasted 6 years and would have lasted longer but, when putting up a fence, I poked several holes through my boot. We live on a farm and can spend as many as 9 solid hours outside in below-freezing temperatures. These boots are worth every penny and I wouldn't farm without them.

We bought these for a very active boy who loves to be outside. He is in an outdoor kindergarden/preschool program so it was important to have a boot that really withstood real Wisconsin cold. These rock. They stay on. he loves them. They are light and not bulky for a kid. he can run in them too.
