super comfy and warm : )
I have pins in my ankle and I can’t bend my foot very good so boots are always a problem. And I can not have any high arches as the plate in the bottom of my foot doesn’t move so high arches cuz the plate be painful. So I was thrilled to buy these and they fit and they are very warm and 100% waterproof, and they are very grippy which at 60 years old I don’t need to fall. They are the black camo which is not very out there for camo very subtle, jeans, leggings and skirts or dresses look good with these. Also when you have two german shepherds and little shitzu to take out in the winter so they can play in the snow- momma doesn’t get cold or wet or fall.
These boots were great until they started leaking and lost their shape. They also developed a hard link by the right great toe.
Purchased these boots for rainy season landscaping and settled on the Whiteout Adjustable Calf rather than the Classic Tall Wide Calf boot. Both boots are comfortable for my wide feet, even in hiking socks with a liner sock. I was surprised that I didn't need to size up for width as older versions of Bogs were always too narrow in the past. I wear a size 8 in New Balance sneakers and the size 8 Bogs, in both models, were the appropriate size. The Whiteout have a more comfortable heel cup and more grip in the tread and weigh 5 oz. less per boot than the Classic Tall Wide. The calf of the Whiteout easily sizes up to 18 inches so I can wear them with my pant leg tucked in when needed. While the 'bloom' soles that come in both pairs of boots are comfortably cushioning, they don't seem very durable. They are easily removed and replaced with my existing Berry Superfeet and the boot still fits great.
I love these boots so far. It's been a couple of months. They are rugged, durable, and easy to take on and off. They keep my feet warm even if i wear without socks. I have not worn them for an extended amount of time outside. This is based on running errands, taking short walks. One complaint is the bucklesto adjust the back come undone easily and every time I fix it ends up undone shortly after. It could use a design update. I would purchase again and recommend.
Very disappointed in quality. At first I loved these boots. Fit well for rubber boots and aggressive sole great for slippery hillside winter walks. Beginning of second rainy season I noticed my feet were getting wet. Both boots had the rubber strip at the heel cracked away from the fabric leaving a hole and sole on one boot cracked between the lugs. Expensive boot for a few months of use.
Best ones I found. Warm waterproof and best of all they don’t have the stupid handles that make your boots effectively shorter and they actually have good tread.
