Just the boot I was looking for - the sole does not pick up rocks and super comfy
These boots keep your feet nice and dry, they do cause my feet to ache after wearing them, also the top band is pretty tight on my calf, I had to roll my down an inch to make them more comfortable.
I wore these daily October-April when I had dogs previously. Just got a puppy and invested in Bogs again. They hold up to daily walks through mud, muck, snow and ice.
I ordered these boots and they feel horrible and they are bulky and not easy to take off.
These are HEAVY and very roomy if that is what you are looking for. I have bunions and need wide shoes and boots. I typically order size 9. These are very large 9’s and are quite sloppy on my feet. Plenty of room for orthotics. My socks keep falling down because the heal moves up/down in every step. The top is loose, but with each step the front digs into your shin. I rolled the top over to resolve that issue. Pricey pair of boots for short distant throw-ons (I’m talking like toss them on to meet the mailman at the end of the sidewalk). I don’t think I will be wearing for garden boots like I had hoped for extended hours and distance. Too sloppy. Perhaps they just run large? I will never know because I am not ordering another pair. Since I already gave these a ‘test drive’ I don’t feel right sending them back.Dry? Yes. Warm? Yes. Roomy? Yes. Sturdy? Yes.I have an older pair of (over the calf) boots from LaCrosse that fit great - size 9 - and super warm and super light. Never a sock issue.
Keep my feet super warm, easy to slip on and great foot bed the offers nice support
Update: summer 2025After rolling the tops down for many, many months, I was able to put them back up again comfortably and now these are my go-to boots for tromping through the mud, streams and wet grass with my dog so I'm changing my rating from two stars to four.----Original review:These are very stiff around the top. Even with my pants tucked in they bruise the front of my calves. I have to roll them down in order to be able to wear them without pain.I have worn Bogs boots for years but these are a disappointment.
