A great pair of rubberized shoes to wear in rainy wet conditions. They have a nice look and I would not hesitate to wear them out and about during inclement weather. Extremely comfortable and run a little large but a thick pair of socks will remedy that.
Great for yard work. Are a bit big and this was noted in previous reviews so I had ordered down. I wear a 6.5-7 shoe. Ordered the size 6 and it works well with socks.
When I first received these I really loved them. Cute, comfortable, waterproof. Everything I needed and more. Unfortunately I bought these in July and by December they cracked. The return window is very small so I doubt the company will do anything about it. Its a shame because I really liked these.
I chose these over the Sloggers because the vamp of the shoe goes quite a bit higher up on the foot, because my shoes always get mulch and dirt in them and it drives me crazy, unless I’m wearing my gardening boots... First like other reviewers noted, they run big. I’m a solid 6 and they fit like a 7-7.5. However, that doesn’t really bother me, they don’t feel outrageously big when I’m walking around even without socks... there’s a lot of room but my feet don’t slide around. Plus, they are easy to kick off at the end of the day with them being so loose.I haven’t worn them much yet, but they don’t rub in weird spots and I feel steady in the dirt... my feet got a little wet when I was watering but they weren’t water-logged by any means, as in the higher vamp kept most of the water out!So far so I’m quite happy with my purchase, and will edit if needed after the next time I do some serious digging and mulching (in the next few days). I can’t give them 5 stars because they run so big and don’t offer any sizes smaller than a 6 or youth sizes that I’m aware of (I wear a youth 3) but I “dig” my Bogs so far!
They run over a size large in length. I wish more shoe companies would list the measurements! I ordered up first, then my size, then a size smaller. I should have measured them before sending them back. I tried to get the measurements before ordering, but didn't hear back. I am a size 8 medium, & the size 7 fit loosely, but if they stretch out any I'd be walking out of them. They were too tight around the ball of my feet, & the soles were pretty hard, so maybe a softer insole would help for some. The insoles are removable. I suppose they made them tight around the waist & ball of the foot to help them stay on. I have arthritis on the balls of my feet, & they made my feet cramp for hours after trying them on. Not a comfortable fit for me, at all. I guess, I'll stick to retired running shoes & rain boots for gardening shoes.
Love BOGS! they are a solid shoe, a bit heavy which doesn't bother me. Great fit out of the box.HOWEVER- the soles are wearing down much quicker than expected. Worn UNDER 10 times and bare spots on heels and ball of foot. The treads are too shallow to begin with. I work at a garden center and thought these would be good for work. Haven't started this season yet- have only walked in the shoes. They will not have enough tread to be worn for 8 hours a day and be a good/safe shoe.
Excellent quality and workmanship! My mother LOVES these clogs!! She says they fit perfectly and are very comfortable!! I have been buying these clogs for my Mom for years - she gets about 2 years out of each pair, and the quality has remained awesome over the years!!! My Mom is 75 years old and 'super spry' for her age, so I look foward to getting her many more pairs in the years to come!!!
