I am very happy with these. I have tried on many other garden shoes and these are the first ones that were relatively easy on and easy off. The elastic panels on the top of the shoe help to accomplish that. They are quite comfortable and true to size. They are a bit warm to wear but of course they are - they’re black in color and heavy rubber. I recommend
I've worn these almost daily in all kinds of weather since purchasing them 6 months ago for walks, hikes, and longer excursions through wet and/or muddy landscapes. The snug, flexible band around the top of the boot makes them very comfortable and was wonderfully effective in keeping my feet dry several times when I was caught by rogue waves while walking along Northern CA beaches--my pant legs got soaked but my feet were perfectly dry. The heavy-duty treads have also been helpful when clambering up and down cliffside trails to get to and from said beaches. The fit is true to size, too.
It is a nice barn show. Comfortable. The only issue was that the little strap on the back that is used to pull on the shoe broke the very first time I wore them so I they are a little harder to get on because that strap is broken. Other than that, a great barn/garden shoe. I have foot issues and these are supportive and comfortable.
I usually wear a size 6.5 in other shoes. I went based on the measurements and ordered a size 6. That was a mistake. They were fine if I wanted to wear without socks. But with this type of material - if worn without socks - your feet will definitely get sweaty. Also the elastic-y thing on top was pretty snug and kind of uncomfortable.I returned the size 6 and went with the size 7. The size 7 is perfect, and I have room to wear them with socks. They’re 100% waterproof and very supportive! I work as a grooming assistant/bather and haven’t had any issues with water leaking through the shoes. I also love the fact they are slip resistant and supportive, since I’m on my feet all day. No aching, wet feet at the end of the day. Perfect.
The boots arrived in a clearly used condition. The fit was good and the left boot comfortable but my ankle turned in when I tried on the right boot. When I removed it and put it on the table, it clearly wobbled. Bad construction and worse quality control. Pay a little more and buy a better boot.
I purchased these in a 9 my regular size. While they do keep my feet dry and are stylish, they are super hard to take off. Very little room for a sock. When taking them off, I have to sit down and tug at them to get them off! Not being able to comfortably wear a thin sock is a deal breaker because being barefoot in rubber during the cold season will not be pleasant. You can barely use your other foot to pull them off from behind. Mind you, they are comfortable but I would love to wear my thin socks with them. The bottoms are sturdy and prevents slipping. I will keep them but disappointed because they were not cheap! The hunt is still on for easy slip on rain shoes.
These just arrived. They are heavier duty than $25 garden shoes. The quality seems very high. The rubber outer material and neoprene material at the ankle are both very thick. They seem very well sewn and constructed. The picture on the website is an accurate representation of what they look like. They fit tight, but I would not say that they run small. I normally wear a size 6, and I ordered a 6. They fit perfectly, but there is no wiggle room. I cannot quickly slip my feet into them; they take a moment to put on. The heel is very narrow, and if you have wide feet, you may want to order a size larger. I am very pleased with them because I think they will stand up to rain, snow, or muddy, everyday farm work.
