I love these booties. The fit is perfect and I was kind of scared from the other reviews that they would be hard to get on. That was not the case. My foot slipped right in. No pushing, pulling or tugging. I have a small, narrow foot, so that may be why my foot just slips right in. These are very comfortable and well made. We haven't had a whole lot of snow yet this year, but the small amount we have had these boots did very well.
I purchased these as an alternative to feed store mucking boots for trips to the horse barn in the muddy Texas winters. The boots fit great - snug but comfortable - I can wear them all day. They keep my feet warm and dry and I find that I'm also reaching for them when running city errands in the cool, wet weather. Definitely recommend.
I’ve only had these a couple months and they’re already falling apart.. I was so sad because they are so cute and perfect for winter but now they are no longer waterproof! For $80 I expected them to last!
Update: They are my go to boots. They give me confidence in slipperyish conditions, way warmer than expected when very cold but able to wear indoors shopping then in the car all day without misery. I tend to have cold feet. Being waterproof, spring wear is perfect and they are neutral enough to wear out to casual dinners. No rub spots either. I'd definitely buy them again.That being said, they fit me fine without discomfort with thinner socks. They have great grips on the sole and I love the soft faux fur lining. I wear them all spring and indoor wearing is comfortable when necessary. I hope the tab never fails because it would be tough to get them on I think.
I loved these right out of the box---I wore them for a 5 hour day of volunteering at a food bank in the rain and they were comfortable, dry and warm! I was standing and walking the entire time and these little boots were very comfortable and supportive. I have worn them multiple times since and secretly find myself hoping for rain so I have an excuse to wear them. I typically wear a 7.5 size shoe and I ordered up to an 8---I need to wear thick socks with them which is okay given they are for winter but they would be a bit big without the socks. If I get a second pair for Sprig/Summer, I will go with a size 7.I've worn them finishing up my yard work for the Fall then straight to the grocery store--they are sturdy enough for work but stylish enough for running errands. I highly recommend these Sweet Peas :)
These shoes are OK. Definitely waterproof, my feet stayed nice and dry. But they aren't very comfortable. I put gel inserts inside and wore thicker socks, and that did help a bit. Just 3 stars from me.
This Sweetpea Winter ankle boot surpasses all my expectations in comfort for standing 2.5 hours outside in 50 degree rainy weather. I still have warm toes. I wear a size nine, I bought a nine. Fits perfect. I will not that I do have narrow feet. I imagine if I had wider feet they might be hard to get on. As it is, they are snug around the ankle, so not a hands-free shoe. The snug factor is so good because no water or cold air seep inside and disturb the cozy town my feet are enjoying. I recommend this shoe.
