They feel like they were custom made just for me!
Words can't describe how wonderful these boots are. I usually buy a men's side 10 to have enough room to put my custom made orthotic inserts in and to have enough room because I have a rather wide foot for a woman. The size chart recommended a size 9 for me. I was skeptical, but I ordered the size 9 boots anyway. When they came, I put my orthotic inserts in and tried them on. They fit but they were tight even in the leg. I thought to myself ooh man did I mess up. So I took one of the two factory inserts out. They felt a little better but were too tight. I just can't see my working a 12 to 14 hour day in these boots. I continued to wear them just in the house. To my amazement, the more I wore them the looser they felt! Now I can work a 14 hour day in these boots and they are the most comfortable pair of boots that I have ever owned! I work in food plants and they are slip resistant. Please don't ever stop making these boots because they will be the only work boot that I will buy for the rest of my life. Out of 5 stars,I give these boots a 10! I Definitely recommend these boots to everyone. I just can't say enough about these boots. Now they feel like they were custom made for me.

Edit: the rebound was diminished by putting the lower insert back in which makes it less wide so I'm looking at it from that angle right now. It might make it perfect.These are mid calf with handles. I removed thevery tight fitting insole to remove the lower insole giving me the widest fit. Regular crew socks are not quit high enough to prevent the rubber around the top from irritating your skin. But still have good room around the top edge. I have a boot Jack to take boots off. The handles make it easy to pull on. Leather with a Goodyear welt might be the best route for me.Fit is great. Hugs my heel. A major concern is something they present as a desired feature "rebound". That is a little unnerving to me because I walk with a cane and don't want to topple over which I feel could happen since "rebound" does not provide a sure foot feeling in heel stability. Every younger person would enjoy the ride.I contacted the company since so many of the reviews show splitting and such. The type work you do can cause stress around the toe area like kneeling. I hoped they still made some shoes here in the US. Nope not even one. So that explains the splits to me. China rubber is the worst rubber.I need a pair of mud boots badly and these could be the ones. Company says on their website they stand behind them for a whole year. $145 each year for mud boots. I am going to sleep on it.
