Bonsai needs to find a new manufacturer. Quality control is obviously non-existent.
I hate to leave a mediocre review as I love these shoes (usually). I've been a fan for a long time. These are my 3rd pair and back in 2007 I bought a bunch for friends. The quality of the shoe is obviously fallen off from what it used to be. Besides being WAY small (I had to return 13's and bought these 14's and they are still smaller than my old 12's). In fairness they do mention that. But on these pair I just ordered the inside strap on the left sandal is longer than it should be (and longer than the right) so the sandal "flips" out when you walk on it. I'm keeping these (begrudgingly) and I'm writing this in hopes that the next time I go to buy this brand they have gotten a hold of quality control and found another manufacturer. These kicks are way too cool to be this sub-standard.

I have had similar sandals from other companies and these are by far the best I have owned
These are the 3rd pair I have bought. I buy them every year due to the comfort. I live in PA so its a seasonal sandal for me. The down can get matted down then eventually starts ripping away from the sandal. As such, I have never had one last more than a year. I have had similar sandals from other companies and these are by far the best I have owned.

Skip these
Bought these as a gift and was very surprised about the cheap quality when they arrived. The sheepskin was very soft and I realize sheepskin varies but one flip flop had fur that was very dark and the other was light. Also, the flip flops were so board straight that they were like plywood. They wouldn't bend at all. Not at all what I was expecting for $70. They were so bad I was embarrassed to give them as a gift so I'm scrambling to find something else to give. Save your money.

Hard, stiff sole
The sherpa is nice but the sole is board straight, very stiff and hard. Not shock absorbent at all. The straps are also a bit long for the sandal itself to be so narrow. I've been trying to wear them to try to break in the sole but so far they are just as hard as the day I got them. They kinda look like Rainbows but the comfort ain't no Rainbows. The sizing seems true though.

These Bonsai Sheepskin lined flip flops were a big hit with my boyfriend. Once he opened them and put them on, he wouldn't take them off. They look very stylish on, and he says they are the most comfortable pair of flip flops he's ever owned. Since he's from California, and has been through countless pairs of flip flops, this is quite a high mark for the Bonsai brand!
