Perfect for wide calves!
I have pretty wide calves and have always struggled finding tall boots that will zip over them. They measure at about 17 inches. These boots have been amazing. I was able to zip them up all the way without struggling or squeezing my legs in!The boots themselves are very stylish. I love the discreet areas that expand rather than this giant garter thing on the back of the boot that most wide calf boots have. It gives you a sleeker silhouette that doesn’t scream big legs.I am on the shorter side and I found that these were little tall for me. Zipped up, they go right to the crease at my knees. Not an issue when walking around, but can be a little uncomfortable if not wearing socks or tights.Overall, I recommend all wide calf ladies buy this. I would spend much more for boots that fit so these are a great bargain. I hope they come out with a brown pair, too!

Decent cheap pair of boots
Pros-fits a 15.5in circumference calf easily and could fit thinner jeans under them. without being insane tight-foot bed is rather comfortable and roomy, could fit in a comfort foot lining-tall enough that the calf goes to just under the knee, from where the heel meets the boot to the top of the calf is 15.5in.Cons-a little foamy feeling on the inside calf portion-clearly a fake leather-the brand name on the top of the bootDo question how long they will stay looking nice, before the ankle starts to sag badly, and before the fake leather starts flaking. Would be decent for cosplay or occasional use.Zipper seemed fine, wasn't difficult to work.Style is basic blank and no extra frills, just note the weird brand stamped on.

Everything about these boots is top quality. Just looking at them, you can tell they’re well made. The almond-shaped pointed toe design is very stylish, and the heel height is perfect for me—it gives just enough lift to look dressy, yet still feels sturdy and supportive. No worries about losing my balance in these! Plus, the synthetic rubber sole has nice, thick grooves, so I feel confident they’ll hold up well this winter if I need to walk on slippery surfaces. Very practical features, yet they look great with all skirt lengths as well as pants!When I first tried them on, the footbed fit perfectly, but I worried I wouldn’t be able to zip them all the way up—I have wide calves and usually stick to ankle boots for that reason. Not to worry! These zipped up beautifully, all the way to the top—hooray! The description mentions a “hidden elastic webbing design on the inside,” and I can happily confirm it’s true and it works. There’s also a stretchy elastic strip at the top, which makes them super easy to get on and off.Another thoughtful touch: these boots come with small pad inserts for the toe area, so you can really customize the fit. One of my feet is slightly larger than the other, so I tried using one insert—and now both boots fit evenly and perfectly. :-) And last but not least, I really love the PU faux leather material and the eco-friendly latex insoles. (I’m vegan, and it’s not always easy to find such high-quality footwear made with these materials.)I’m very excited to start wearing these wonderful boots once the weather gets cooler. I’d give more stars if I could! Definitely recommend.

Decent boots with a few flaws
These boots look very nice and well made. The zipper looks and feels sturdy/durable. They look exactly as pictured. Unfortunately they were much too large for me even when using the included shoe insert. I ordered my normal size 9 so I think they may run a little on the bigger side. The width of the boot was way too large for my legs as well. It may be due to my petite/small size but they looked quite ridiculous. I do think they would have been comfortable had they been the proper size. The material seems durable and the sole is nice and thick. My only other complaint is the logo/brand of the company is stamped on the outer top side of the boots. I think it looks very tacky and would have been very disappointed had they fit and worked out for me.

Comfortable and wide calf friendly
These boots are pretty great. First, they are wide calf friendly. I have a wide-ish calf and these slipped on and zipped up easily. For those with wider calves, there's also some goring near the top to give a little extra room.The material looks great. It is slightly shiny but not glossy, if that makes sense. While I know it's faux leather, it feels good to the touch and looks good, too. The boots do come folded over in the box so you know the material is pliable. Inside the boot shaft, there is a different fabric (I think polyester or something like it). Speaking of the boot shaft, I'm pretty short at 5'3" and these go up to my knees.I ordered a half size up as I'm generally unsure about fit when it comes to boots. As I mentioned, my calves are a little larger and sometimes wider fit shoes fit better. Plus, with boots I like to wear socks. For this boot, I should have stuck with my normal size as it runs true to size. That being said, a thicker sock and the provided heel cushions will correct any slight oversized fit issues.I find the boot to be very comfortable. The heel height is reasonable and I don't feel like im walking on my tippy toes. The insole is pretty comfortable too. The sole is a little slick. I live in a walking and public transportation friendly city and I often worry about shoe soles and walking on different surfaces. I should be fine in these.Overall, these are great. I'd say stick to your normal size, these will fit most calves, and they are very comfortable.
