The shoes are very nice and the zipper on the side is very convenient however, I've only had these shoes for 2 months and I've already got a hole in the soul. I don't suggest buying these for long-term use.
First, they are false branded 5.11 boots, which rebrand should be a hint of bad from the start. The fit was ok, they were horrible wet traction though. Hard to zip up (not a big foot or ankle being 6'3 and 190 lbs). Not waterproof over about 1" of water. Having them about two weeks and maybe 10 wears, the sole came out of the bottom and my foot was sitting directly on the inside of the tread of the boot. Simply an insole could be replaced, but there was no platform or space to put one without it being on the underside of the tread. The pic is down the back of the boot, with the insole in place, you can see there is no 'bottom' of the inside. Definitely not recommended.
Didn't last
Very sloppily made, it looks like cheap vinyl that was slapped together - edges of the material does not line up evenly with frayed edges of the plastic material exposed.I see no way how these "boots" could ever breath, apparently making this toy boot or theatrical prop one big moisture containment unit. Avoid these.
They were great at first, looked good, fit well, but they weren't comfortable, I had to buy a sole to be comfortable.They weren't waterproof, being as I used these boots for work they weren't reliable especially once holes started appearing in the bottom of the solesOverall I'd suggest you use these maybe for pictures or for show, but not to wear everyday.
