Comfy quality. Color much darker than shown.
Gray color is much darker than shown. Suede is much more coarse than shown, giving boots a more casual look. Fit is a little large, roomy enough mid-weight socks, but makes my size 7 feet look large. Can you tell I’m considering not keeping them? Quality product made with materials and craftsmanship that you would expect from “Born”. UPDATE: Kept the boots. Sprayed with suede waterproofing. I’ve worn for long periods of time and found the boots very comfy. Received several compliments too.

To be worn with straight or skinny-legged pants or even a skirt
These are great little booties. I have bunions and due to them, some shoes are unwearable unless I tape my big and second toe together with a cotton ball between them. These booties are very comfortable and don't bother my feet in the least. They're VERY short (the booties - not my feet) and because of their height, they don't work well with pants that have a wide or flared leg. I think the idea while wearing these, because they're so cute, is to show them off. Wide or flared-legged pants will hide them.

Love Born shoes
I love Born shoes, boots, and sandals. I have several pairs. I don’t have a lot shoes, but what I have are good quality and comfortable. I don’t mind spending $150 on a pair of Born shoes because I know they will last me quite a while. I went on the Born website to find that they were the same price as getting them from Amazon, and since I have the Prime membership, the shipping was free. I am that geeky person who actually shines my shoes. Good shoes are worth taking care of. I also suggest occasionally taking a shoe brush to them to get the dirt off, apply color if needed or at least conditioner, and then spray them with leather protectant, and if your heels are wood, you can occasionally treat those with colored polish and a protectant. Your shoes will last longer. These boots are so comfortable that I can wear them all day.

First time wearing was a day full of walking and these, surprisingly, were never uncomfortable. I have joint problems in my feet due to rheumatoid arthritis, so comfortable footwear is hard for me to find. These have leather uppers but a rubber type sole and some cushioning inside with good support. Love the color. I purchased size 8, which I wear in MOST brands. Possibly could have sized down 1/2 size but the little bit of extra room helps with my condition. All in all I would buy this boot again and will likely look at more shoes from this brand.

Seller shipped defective shoe
Beautiful shoe BUT zipper on right shoe defective. Unable to unzip- zipper teeth sewn out of alignment. Shoe box was ragged and paper inside box to protect shoes looked like wadded up left over. I wondered if shoes were seconds? Just forgot to take out active supply? Can plainly assume didn’t go thru a quality check before shipping to seller and seller didn’t check shoes either. Never had a new shoe shipped so shoddy!!!
