I ordered these for my husband last summer (2024), and he has been wearing them ever since. The poor man has not chosen good shoes for himself, so his shock and awe at a pair of Bjorns was so interesting!! They are great sandals—so sturdy, they fit him perfectly, they are comfortable, and he loves the style. It's so good to know there are great quality products out there!

Edit 2 (09/20/2022): I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this model of sandals due to the shock cording - which holds together the various parts of the upper - breaking quickly. I'm dropping my rating from a 4 to 2. Within eight months of purchase (after the shoes were worn maybe two dozen times), the shock cord on one of the sandals snapped, so the upper would no longer stay together. A local shoemaker replaced the cord, but it snapped too within seven months of sporadic usage. Despite the calendar age, these shoes were worn so little they still look brand new other than the broken cord. In my opinion the design is simply not strong enough to withstand regular use and this model did not last anywhere near as long as my previous Born sandals, which never broke, but simply wore out.Edit 1: I ended up buying these same sandals locally so I could try them on: even though I normally wear a 12, I took a size 10 in these.Original Review: These sandals are beautifully made with quality leather, and based on past Born sandals I've owned should last many years. I chose these because there's no elastic - which tends to stretch and cause a loose fit - and unlike many other brands, the backstrap is smooth and seamless where it touches the back of your ankle. Unfortunately I had to return mine as they were too big and loose, which was a surprise given I almost always wear a 12-Medium. Aside from being too long and wide, there was also not enough adjustment in the Velcro strap to make the fit tighter. Regardless: if they fit you I highly recommend this brand and style.

The BEST Fishermans sandal out there! This is my second pair-so happy I found at Amazon; as first pair I purchased at a shoe store.
