Born Consistency. Recommended.

This is my third pair of Born shoes in about 20 years. All three are size 10 and feel exactly alike. And the shape is right for me-a little narrow at the heel and a little wider at the ball/pad area-but only a little. And the overall feel is firm and comfortable but not rigid or stiff. And it seems like the uppers of all three are made of the same sort of leather. It is thicker than the leather in most shoes but very soft and pliable. Of course they don't look alike but have the similar general appearance that I think of as "European Walking/Comfort Shoe" I'm very pleased and highly recommend them. And I promise I'm not a Shill.My only complaint is that there is a loop on the tongue for the laces to be threaded through. This is in the wrong position and pulls the eyelets down uncomfortably against the top sides of the instep. It's a superfluous design flaw that I just don't use but I knocked off a star for because of it. But overall I'm highly pleased with these shoes and recommend them.
