Great value for the price!

These boots are warm and comfortable. I am short (5’1”) and the shaft ends just below my knee. I have medium size calves and they are a little snug with thick socks. However, I had to order a half size smaller because they didn’t have them in an 8.5. They still fit, just a little more snug. They look great have good door support and were a great value for the price! I also like the zipper which makes them easy to put them on and take them off. They are definitely waterproof!

I wanted a nice looking pair of winter boots that wouldn't bust my ...

I bought these boots mainly because of the low price. I wanted a nice looking pair of winter boots that wouldn't bust my budget. I really didn't expect much. I thought if they made it throught one winter then I would probably get my money's worth. So far they have performed way past my expectations. Since they arrived, I have worn them every morning on a mile and half trek through a nature preserve where I walk my dog (I'm sure this is not their intended use, and I have other boots that are more appropriate for this type of walk) . My feet stay warm and dry. They are as comfortable to wear as any of my hiking or snow boots. The tread grips very well on wet, muddy paths and I can safely walk up and down the steep river bank.I ordered these in a size 7 (I usually wear a 6.5). I thought I would need the extra room for thicker socks, however, I think I would have been fine with a 6.5. My calves measure about 14.5" and I have plenty of room for leg warmers or heavy jeans (although they look really cute with leggins or skinny jeans). Driving or walking up and downs steps is not hindered by stiffness in the ankle area. Some reviewers complained about the toe box being too shallow or stiff. Although I did find this to be a bit of a problem at first, the more I wear them I find it to be less and less of an issue. Either they've loosened or I've just gotten used to it.I realize these boots are not intended to be hiking boots, however, they have perfromed above my expectations. If your buying these mainly to wear to work or shopping, etc., I don't think you can find a better boot for the money.

Wide foot bed, no. Wide calves, yes.

I get very cold feet in the winter and I was looking for a warm boot. This one fit the bill! It even came in wide foot width. I wasn’t expecting them to have wide calves, but they do. I don’t have big calves but I do have wide feet. It’s hard to find a boot that fits me properly. I cannot say that the foot bed is for wide feet. My left foot is OK without socks but my right foot, due to my bunion is a snug fit. I debated on returning these, but I’m hoping they will stretch a bit and be OK. The price is right and the fact that they are warm and waterproof is great. I just wasn’t expecting them to have wide calves, but they do. The fact They Look like dress boots is nice. I’m giving them a four star rating due to the fact that the footbed does not feel like a wide width.

A GREAT pair of adoraboots!!

I needed boots for the snowy winters of the Rocky Mountain range that wouldn't break my bank to buy. These boots deliver! I knew they were cute from looking at the photos, but one can never be certain that a pair of boots purchased online will necessarily deliver on weatherability. These boots are bingo for the snow! They're high enough to handle two feet of snow, the soles keep you from slipping, (unless you're trying to negotiate with ice), AND *surprisingly* they keep your feet AND legs DRY!! That's priceless! These boots are also pretty darned adorable. I wear them walking my dog in the midst of high snowdrifts and sub-zero temps and I stay warm enough to do it everyday. Practical, economical, and adorable. You won't be disappointed.

Nice looking, good quality but very tight

This is a knockoff of a more popular brand. You can see that just from the pics in the add as the logo is missing. It looks good and had a thick fur lining but it was tight without a sock at all. I have a 9.5” foot exactly but it’s on the chubby side (flat feet) so I always get a 10. I wanted to wear socks with this (and most of my shoes or boots) so I went with a 10W. Also, I didn’t measure the calf but it was tight too. I returned it.The seams, sole, stitching, and materials were all done well.

True to size and generous calf opening...

I bought these to wear on a visit to Upstate New York (temperatures between -4 and -17 F) and they kept my feet dry and warm. The shafts are lined with faux-fur and are a generous size (I often need wide-calf boots, and was nervous about these being too narrow, but they fit fine!) I did go up one size, for that little bit of extra calf room and it worked great because it left room on my feet for thick socks. If you have thinner (normal) calves, and normal width feet, you can get your normal size.We mainly just walked to and from different homes / stores / restaurants, so I'm not sure how these would do long-term out in the weather, but I was happy with them (since I only need them when we visit up North, they should last me for many years)
