I probably should have waited to write this review, but I just opened my the pkg. and I immediately LOVE them! They are super cute! The color (purple) is so vibrant! The imprints on inner and outer sole and strap are adorable. They look/feel very well made. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. (I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8.) They are normal width and from briefly trying them on, the side-strap does not seem to rub on the inside of my ankle, (unlike the hard, narrow, classic Crocs flip-flops I ordered ...and NEED to return!) I can tell these Gold Pigeon (style 6883W) are going to be comfortable, but like I said, I've only tried them on briefly. I will update this review after I've had a chance to wear them awhile. They are fairly firm, not foamy/spongy like Oofoos. Don't get me wrong; I love my Oofoos for comfort and arch support, but they are twice as expensive and don't have much character. These are a very nice change. I am so happy with them, I am going to order the other colors! I live in Hawaii, so sandals (aka: 'slippers'), are practically the only type of shoes people wear here, as it is tradition to remove your shoes before entering any home. The tag says they are machine washable and have a shock-absorbing, ergonomic mid-sole to minimize foot fatique when wearing for long periods. They will be perfect for casual, every day wear. Mahalo! Cute flip flops for beach or pool.
I bought these for a trip to the beach. They were just what I wanted for schlepping around the sand. But then they were stolen at my parents gated community pool. I guess I’m not the only one that thought they were cute. I liked them so much that I ordered another pair. I’ve worn them to the pool many times and have taken them in quite a few beach trips. I’ve also worn them just for running around during the summer. There’s no arch support but they are very cushy to wear. They’ve lasted for quite awhile but the pink lining came loose. I just glued it back but for the price I might consider buying another pair. I wear a 9 1/2 and a 10 fit me well. The only thing I don’t like is that the front white part gets scuffed up easily but hey, they’re not meant to be a fashion statement.

Second best thongs in decades.
So, as most of you already know, I'm an antique, vintage if you will. And I have been wearing thongs since I was a preteen. I have purchased countless pairs of thongs--in store and online--for the past four or so decades. Some are, well, meh. Okay. Nothing to write home about. Some are so downright uncomfortable that I can only wear them for an hour or so, before I have to take them off, due to either pain between the toes or the lack of cushioning. So, these arrived yesterday. I was mentally prepared for them either not to fit or to be uncomfortable. I love to be pleasantly surprised. I put these on and the first surprise was that they were a perfect fit. So, I stood up and walked around and the second surprise was that they felt amazing. Cushioned and comfortable. I did not take them off for hours. I walked outside, I did housework. I wore them for hours in total, unbelievable comfort. I'm back now to buy more. I don't even need more, but I don't know if they will be around when I do need more, so I am buying them now and I suggest you do the same. Had originally said that they were the "best," but had to edit the review and say "second best," because both cannot be the best. The ones I rated best: "Ampeo Women's Arch Support Flip Flops Comfortable Casual Summer Beach Thong Sandals. However, to be fair, they are both superb.

Runs Extremely Small
These sandals are extremely cute. I sized up. I wear 8.5 and purchased a 9. I gave them to my daughter-in-law who wears a size 7 and they fit her perfectly. So if you buy a pair you need to order about 2 sizes larger than you wear. The quality was really nice.
