Indepth Review and Comparison
I have been looking for a decent pair of wide toe box, zero drop shoes. It is not as easy as one might imagine. My tried and true brand is declining dramatically in quality and I have stopped buying their shoes. I tend to be active and walk 5-7 miles a day with a 30 lb weighted vest and ankle weights. I am hard on athletic shoes.I am comparing this Bronax navy colored shoe to the Whitin grey wide toe box shoe. I am a woman and wear a size 41. This Bronax is a man's shoe.Comfort - 5/5I am pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the Bronax shoes. As you can see from the pics they have more cushion than Whitin. The tongue is long enough to be comfortable as it is not jabbing into the front of my ankle.Sizing - 5/5After trying 20 different pair of shoes (that was a fun return) I was pleased that the Bronax sizing was fairly accurate. I wear a 41 and it felt like a 41. Even well known brands seems off on their sizing these days.Height - 5/5As you can see from the pics with the measuring tape the Bronax is a higher shoe. Partly due to cushion but the fabric portion is also more substantial.Style - 5/5The Bronax just looks nice and like a quality shoe.Price- 5/5Nice bang for the buck at $45.Durability - ?I don't know. Will update this review when I know more.Whitin/BronaxThe Bronax is a more substantive shoe and feels like it might take a beating over time and not fall apart. The Whitin is more minimalist. Comfortable but less cushion and the cushion is more rigid. I personally like this for certain situations. There is 1 issue with Whitin that is odd. It feels like the cushion is not one flat piece but has holes (to reduce materials needed) and I can sort of feel the holes. It's not dramatic but might be after a few miles of walking. I will try one of my i soles and see if that helps. I didn't have this experience with Bronax. In the end I might keep both shoes. But if I could only have 1 shoe I would keep the Bronax.I really applaud Bronax for creating a good wide tox box zero drop shoe. Clearly it's not easy as I tried 20 different companies which included some well known brands. The more well known brands are increasing in price and declining in quality which makes room for a company like Bronax. Let's hope they keep making good shoes!!

Great fit and comfort for my 8W aging feet
At last! I've tried on half a dozen different shoes trying to find some that fit my wide feet. My old standby brand was Altra, back when they were an independent company. But since they were acquired it seems like their prices keep going up and I've had a harder time finding models that fit and are as comfortable as their old Instinct 2.5. Anyway, I ordered this pair during Prime Day, when the price was low enough that I figured I'd give them a try. They fit like a glove! The length is a spot-on Size 8, and the wide toe box gives my old toes plenty of room to assume their natural positions, rather than being pinched. The cushioning is just right, enough for comfort, but not insanely built up to the point that they feel like platform shoes that escaped from the 70s. I'll be wearing these shoes for everyday wear, not running, so I won't be able to stress test them. Soles are more aggressive than I need for everyday wear, but not so much so as to interfere with grocery store walking. I'm very happy with the fit, comfort, and quality of these shoes. Would have paid twice as much now that I know how well they fit.

Great shoe!
Great wide toe box shoe! My son loves these. They are comfortable and have good wiggle room. The shoe laces have been a bit of an issue: too long and have frayed easily. Those are easily replaced though. Overall, very happy with these shoes. Great for the price which is super nice when my son is growing quickly!

Nice wide comfortable shoes
Great shoes for my Bigfoot teenage son. He has wide feet, and these fit him nicely. Good materials and construction. Nice looking too. He's been wearing them for 6 months or so, and they're holding up nicely. He's used them on several hiking trips, some sports stuff, and for everyday wear. He'll probably outgrow them long before he wears them out.

Comfortable, cushioned and roomy fit!
Looking for a wide toe box show, these looked really comfortable and at the price I thought I’d give them a try. I have wide feet and extremely flat feet, but I can walk long distances easy in good shoes. The wide toe box allows your toes to spread out which helps stabilize your feet and prevent them from caving in like normal narrow shoes. The whole shoes feels cushioned and soft. They have a cushioned step, like all the Sketchers I buy. They are comfortable for running and workouts. Good for barbell squats for those who like to squat with a flat foot instead of an elevated heel.I would love to see a non-slip or slip resistant version for service workers. I find them comfortable in the kitchen, but they are slippery on old floor tile in older designed restaurants.. It works well on more modern slip resistant tile or poured floors in restaurants. It grips most common surfaces really well, though. When I like a shoe or clothes, I tend to buy multiple pairs. I will be buying a few more and store them to replace these when they wear out. Most of my shoes last about 6 months. I’ll leave a comment down the road how durable they are.
