Well crafted comfortable shoes

Loafers by Brooks BrothersThese are quite comfortable. The toes are a bit narrower than I prefer, but the rest of the shoe is so nice I don't mind.I also appreciate the shoes come just as they do when you buy them in store.The sole feels great to walk in. Everything is balanced and feels nice.They are comfortable for all-day wear. They can be worn without socks. They pair well with pants or shorts. They're on the casual side where they're being worn as boat shoes but will work with slacks. They are slip resistant. They're made out of rubber, leather, and suede. While I'm using them as boat shoes, just to state they are not meant for water - due to the material. Don't be like me. No heel.My only interest is how I'll have the heel replaced, but I'll leave that to the pros. Excellent value.

Great looking, high quality, snug fit

It’s been a while since I wore loafers and thought I’d try these for summer wear.The material and construction are top notch. The design is classic.They were a little snug but I’m guessing all loafers are supposed to be that way. They were still comfortable and will probably loosen up over time.

Love them

Love this pair of loafers! Firstly, it's the famous Brooks Brother brand that speaks for itself. Secondly, the shoes are very comfortable to wear and go well with casual pants. The first time it took some effort to put them on but I am hoping that they will loosen up over time. The sole is comfortable and quiet when walking. I also love that they come with 2 sleeves to keep the shoes safe from dust. Overall, highly impressed (my first paid of BB shoes) with their shoes.

A great shoe but not a great value

I really like these driving loafers from Brooks Brothers. I sold high end men’s shoes in college and am still a bit of a snob. I didn’t have high expectations for these as BB isn’t known for their shoes. These surpass my expectations by a wide margin. I love the navy suede and they used a nice soft glove leather liner. For a driving shoe, these have reasonable cushion and even a touch of arch support. They even fit well. Maybe just a touch big so if in between, I would size down. The reason these aren’t a five star for me is the value. At over $200, you are moving into some pretty high end shoe brands. While BB is generally a well regarded brand for clothing, they aren’t as well regarded for shoes. These are also manufactured in China and, while China has come a long way in shoe manufacturing, they still aren’t up their with the Italians or the Brits and again, at this price point, they are getting close to some brands made there. So, I really like these shoes. At list though, I would probably pass. If you can get them on sales though, these are a win for sure.
