I bought these for my husband for work. He works in the cooler and these shoes provide insulation to keep his feel warm. He also works on a fork lift in a warehouse so these shoes also provide the comfort and stability from moving around around on concrete floors all day!
My foot Dr. Recommended me these shoes to wear instead of my other shoes for better support. After my foot surgery I was starting to have the same sighns on the other foot that I had on the one that had surgery. I went tried on different shoes that was on my Dr's list put these ones on and fell in love, they maybe allot of money which I can't afford allot but they are worth the money in comfort and style. I now own 2 pair and I'm pain free in my feet. I will continue to get more as long as they hold up because I haven't had them to long. But for now I'm in love and I recommend them.
It’s overall a comfortable and good looking shoe. I took off one star for two issues.1. It is slippery on wet and frosty roads or pavement - which is unacceptable for a waterproof shoe. Hopefully the soles will scuff with wear.2. The toe box is a bit on the small side and pushes up on one toe slightly.
I've had multiple pairs of Brooks Ghost 14. I tried the Ghost 15 and Ghost 16 and other Brooks newer shoes but whatever was changed in the new models, the shoe does not fit the same and I had to return them. The only reason I purchased GTX waterproof model of this shoe is because it was the only available Ghost 14 I could find.
I purchased these shoes recently and have only logged a few miles, but they have been comfortable since day one. No break-in period on these shoes. The fit is true to size. They feel lighter than the previous Brooks running shoes I had. So far, I like these better.
Excellent shoes that are really good in rainy weather.
