Brooks Men's Launch 3 Review
The Brooks Men's Launch 3 is a great shoe for anybody who is going to spend a lot of time in the great outdoors. Running, hiking, weightlifting, and everyday walking are activities that are mastered by this Brooks shoe. This shoe is ideal for anybody who runs around 40 miles per week; hikes mountains on the weekends; works out for hours at a gym; or likes to walk around large shopping malls. The Launch 3 is a very comfy, breathy, and durable shoe. Without feeling any type of discomfort, you can run a marathon and your feet won't ache at the end. This shoe allows your toes to breathe, giving you more motivation to keep going! I have had these shoes for over 3 months and haven't experience a rip or tear in them. Brooks did an awesome job on this shoe design. Making the Launch 3 durable and dependable, this is a shoe that is going to last a long time. There are many color options to choose from with the Brooks Launch 3. Color options vary anything from bright neon blue to straight jet black. I believe black is the ideal color for most tasks because your shoes are prone to become dirty very easily being outdoors. On the down side, Brooks did not design this shoe to be 100% waterproof. It does repel some water in contact, but if you were to step in a puddle, your feet are likely to get wet. Making the remainder of your trip uneventful. This is just a consequence of having a breathable shoe, having many micro holes throughout the surface. This Launch 3 fit as expected, being comparable to Nike's average man shoe size. That being said, this shoe is meant for men, but women can fit in them if they would like (keep in mind the difference in shoe sizes). I compare this Brooks shoe to a stylish Nike running shoe combined with a New Balance shoe’s comfort. Overall, I really enjoy running and hiking in the Brooks Launch 3 and I highly recommend it if you are going for comfort. Brooks truly put an effort in this shoe design and it definitely shows when you’re active.

These feel stable and for the price are fine. A lot of nice heel support in these ...
The Brooks Launch 3 are a very decent all around running shoe. They will accommodate most types of runners. I'm a runner with a moderate arch and more or less normal pronation. These feel stable and for the price are fine. A lot of nice heel support in these which, with a newly developed heel spur is very welcomed. However, I would have bought Pure Flow 2's if I could have and after running my Pure Flow 2's for way longer than I should have these feel a bit heavy. Those were probably the best running shoes I've had. These will do for now, but I wish they didn't make the new pure flows look so dorky.

Great shoe at an amazing price
I've been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for over 5 years but I was put off by the price of the 19 model - $160! Even an 18 model is no cheaper than $130, so I browsed around for another neutral shoe and hit upon the Launch 3. Reviews were good so I snapped up a pair in red, for $54. Ran 6 miles yesterday and found the shoes very comfortable, good support and cushioning and much lighter than the Asics. A steal at that price and even the Launch 4 at $100 seem like good value.

The Goldilocks Shoe!
Really good shoe! I had run in the Pure Flow for several iterations, but thought the fit changed with the last edition. I went back to the Ghost, which is a good shoe but a bit clunky. The Launch is as light as the Flow series and has good ground 'Feel' but better cushioned, and not nearly as 'Much' shoe as the Ghost or Glycerine. Heel to Toe drop is lower but not as flat as the Flow. Fit was very good, 10 1/2 for my size 10 feet gives just enough room for the toes. Good job, Brooks!

Good quality, good support, too snug on my wide feet.
I wear women's 12 wide or double wide depending on the shoe. It's difficult to find this sizexs in women's so I get men's 11 regular (which is actually wide) or 11wide (which is extra wide. This time I got the regular men's 11 the we're just a tad too snug on my small toes on regular days and really too tight when Ive been standing all day and have swollen feet. If you do not have wide feet or feet that swell you will probably be happy with these. Brooks has great quality and support I just wish I could get more variety in my size.

Pretty bad foot pain...
Preface: I've been running for about 17 years, usually 3-4 times per week. I do a couple of half marathons each year. I am a forefoot runner. Brooks are my favorite running shoes by far. I've never written a negative review about any shoes. I'm a size 10.5 shoe and always order a 1/2 size larger (ie purchased 11).Launch 3: I wore these around the house for 3 days to break them in a bit. Then, I ran 3 times @ 3-5 miles each run on separate days. By mile 1, I was experiencing some discomfort in the top muscles of my feet. Mile 2 increased to actual pain. Mile 3 pain still increasing until finished running. I'm one of those rather stupid OCD people who finishes their run despite any pain. For the next two days after each run I was still experiencing pain and cramps on the top of my feet. After looking at the shoes more closely I realized that the outsole (bottom of the shoe) is too stiff. As a forefoot runner the shoe does not bend well and it over works the muscles on TOP of the foot. Returned the shoes and will look for a different model of Brooks.
