Great running shoes
These are a pretty good running shoe if you're looking for an every day trainer. Most Brooks shoes are on the better side of things. They're not for someone looking for a minimalist style running shoe, but they'll make a great addition to your running shoe family when you need a break from minimal shoe running. They're lighter than your average trainer, and have a descent amount of cushioning (not too soft/not too stiff). They're also a good pair of shoe to slip on and just walk around the city, go hiking, or just wear around as your every day shoe. Then you can throw them on and run 10+ miles and not have soar feet. They're a great shoe!My only complaint is that the sole eventually will separate from the foam in the heel, and I tend to wear outer side of the toe box pretty fast (forefoot striker). I average about 8 miles/day when I am training, and these stand up pretty well to that abuse.

So COMFY & LIGHT!
Great sneaker for a great price.I bought these sneakers for every day use and are so comfortable and light that I can't stop wearing these. They are also lasting me pretty good. Only thing you might want to keep in mind is that these Brooks do not have a stiff support on the arch if you are focused on that. These are more like pillows when stepping on them. GET EM!

great shoe, great price
I am a longtime 25-40 mile/week runner, have been through a lot of light, neutral trainers from Asics, Brooks, New Balance and others. These certainly stack up very well for me, good balance between relatively light weight and sufficient shock absorption for long runs. Of course fit is highly individual - these fit my relatively narrow, tall foot well. Price is good at 90-100$. One caveat to triathletes and minimalists - I wouldn't recommend these for sockless running. Tried it experimentally for a quick 2 miler off the bike and the stitching around the toe box chewed my pinkies bloody. Other than that, a fantastic buy.

achilles tendonitis
On first day I ran total of 12 miles in these shoes (divided into 2 separate 6 mile loops).I have very mild off/on achilles tendonitis and after the first 6 mile loop I felt the ache of one of my tendons coming on. I took a few hour break and the ache subsided. Then I inserted some PROFOOT heel inserts I got here on Amazon I had in my old shoes. Following the 2nd 6 mile loop I had no aches or symptoms.I also ran another 6 mile loop on day #2 for speed and had no recurring symptoms. So after 12 miles on the FIRST day of getting the shoes and another 6 miles the next day, I'm very happy with these Brooks. The shoe is light enough and cushion effect adequate.LOL...the shoe lace length is just right (previous review stated too long)

Just a tad small
Really nice shoe, but just a touch small (maybe 1/4 size). I can comfortably wear them for an hour or two just to get some miles in, but nothing longer. I'd just buy a half size up normally, but these are only available here in full sizes and that would be too much room.

Love affair is over.
I used to love these shoes until I developed metatarsal issues. They have toe spring and get soft in metatarsal area, with or without the insole.

Stable neutral lighter training running shoe
This training running shoe fits nicely in between two of my Brooks favorites: the T7 Racer Running Shoe and the typical trainer Brooks Glycerin 9. Use it for long runs (15+ miles) or faster recovery runs.
