I’m in my 50’s and need solid support in my shoes - I tend to pronate. For me, these are PERFECT for balancing my step / gate. These are awesome for walking and jogging. We visit Disney World several times a year and these can really make or break to those 8-12 mile days of walking in the Orlando sun.I really like the different color and style options - I actually currently have four pairs right now and rotate between them. Use these to workout in, take the dogs for a walk, or just go run errands. Comfortable and fit my feet well. I do put some Spenco insoles in place of the foam insoles however. I do not use these for running. I have a different model of Brooks for running.

Didn't realize "medium" means WIDE - the fit is freaking terrible

Somehow - no matter how hard I think I'm trying to be careful to order the right width when I order Brooks on Amazon - I keep getting the WRONG WIDTH. I didn't realize the "medium" in the title was the width - probably because I've never bought Brooks in a brick & mortar store. I looked at some in a store last week & noticed the label on the box. Feeling pretty dumb now - because SOMEHOW I expect the listing to say WIDE if the shoes are actually WIDE. And since my dumb a$$ bought lighter colored shoes this time, & they were stained all to hell by the time I realized the width was wrong. These are also a tad longer than other men's 8s I've ordered, so with the width - there's WAY too much room in the toe box... Pretty much hate them. Probably going back to Aasics after my last two ordering mishaps with various styles of Brooks.
