Brooks are very good shoes and I have several pairs. This particular model has a narrow toe box. My foot is on the wider side so my toes feel restricted. I’m not going to return. I’m going to stretch out toe boxes with stretchers.

Comfortable, supportive, and great for everyday wear and pickleball
These are my second pair of Brooks Beast GTS 24 shoes, and that alone says a lot. They’re extremely comfortable right out of the box and provide excellent support for both walking and light athletic use.I wear these daily and also use them for pickleball, and they’ve held up very well. Good and stable footwear; comfy to wear
So, these shoes are on the expensive side, but the more I wear them the more they are worth it. The size is accurate and the style is ok, but they keep me stable and comfortable. I have one leg which has a partial atrophy in the calf due to back issues in the past. I’ve had two surgeries including a fusion, but still require dependable footwear. I think Brooks is the way to go. If you’re looking for more cushion, I’d go the Hoka route. For me, support and slightly less cushion, although still enough to take pressure off the knees and back, was important.
