Happy feet, durable.

I have a lot of foot pain and am demanding of shoes. These shoes provide cushion, stability, support for the lower. Great grip.Upper is comfortable without over stitching, binding or pressure. Just glove like fit.Approx 10 miles a day and 15 days wear so far. (150 miles)Durable, no apparent unexpected wear or defects.End of day, foot pain is reduced and my days are extended.I chose an obnoxious color choice because it was on sale, lol and regret it now as it has become my daily wear. Wearing to church and work…willing to sacrifice pride for the comfort.Ordering a more traditional color now!Absolutely worth it.

Excellent walking/running trail shoe

Love these shoes. Very comfortable, supportive with plenty of traction for multiple surfaces. This is my 2nd pair that I have dedicated to use on my treadmill. My first matching pair are still going strong for outdoor walking and running. Here in Arizona trail shoes tend to pick up multiple types of needles and thorns that you definitely don’t want tracked into your home, carpets and treadmills. These Brooks Caldera trail shoes are my go-to’s. Brooks Beast running shoes are another great option but obviously are not made for heavy trail use. I only use Powerstep insoles from the start in all my runners and hikers. Take care of your feet 👣

Good product overall

I like these shoes allot (except for the color, but that's all they had in my size at the time) I bought them for jogging but ended up wearing them at work in the hospital where I was on my feet 8 hours a day.I use them now for mostly trail jogging and I like the stability and traction over gravel.

Comfortable and durable shoes for both daily wear and walking the dog on the trails.

These are really comfortable shoes. I got the, for everyday wear and walking the dog. They have pretty good grip. The cushioning is great. The size is right. This is my second pair, and I’m looking to buy more if I can find them on special. They are worth it at regular price but the next edition has come out. But I really would be fine if they hadn’t updated these and Tunis version was the current version. My Caldera 5s I still use for walking when I go home, and my first pair of 6s are still in the daily wear rotation along with the second pair. Calderas are my default shoes when buying Brooks. You can’t go wrong with these.

Not Quite As Comfortable As The Ghost Max

After buying a pair of Brooks Ghost Max's I was stunned at just how all-out comfortable they are. Right out of the box they had great cushioning but also decent support and there is a fine line between too much of one over the other. I felt that the Ghost Max's were as close to a perfect combination of both as I had ever seen before. With the crazy amount of sole on the Caldera 6's I assumed it would have a very similar cushioning. I was wrong. They aren't bad or uncomfortable by any stretch...but are they AS comfortable? Nope. Now that we have that out of the way, are they good? Yes. I mean they're Brooks, so you expect that, right? As well we should. The company has worked hard to foster a great relationship between their fans as much as most. They've managed to do that with hardly a budget whatsoever for advertising compared to Under Armour, Nike, Adidas and many others. Don't read into that as the company does not know how to make great shoes. The ARE comfortable. They have great support and even decent cushioning - just not as much as the Ghost Max's. I guess that makes sense because they also cost about 35% less so I get it. The truth is, I prefer the looks of the Caldera 6 to the Ghost Max, but prefer the comfort of the latter. Now keep in mind I'm not a runner. I do however love to hike and walk long distances and do so as often as decent weather allows. I'm looking for walking comfort, so what I expect and want from a shoe may not be what you're looking for, so please keep that in mind. If you're looking for a great trail running shoe, the Caldera 6's are really great. The soles are designed for trail hiking/running and work awesome. I mean they won't replace a pair of hiking boots, but they'll work in a pinch just fine.Great shoe overall.

Superb trail shoes

I have gone through a number of trail shoes throughout the years from companies like Hoka, Adidas, new balance, etc. all have had their merits, but this shoe his hands down the most versatile and comfortable of them all. It has an incredibly soft and springy material in its sole that makes it a pure joy when hitting the trail. It hugs the contours of any obstacle, like rocks. It holds well in slippery conditions and provides long-term comfort from extensive excursions outdoors. The only drawback is because the material is soft, the studs at the bottom of the shoe will start wearing off fairly quickly. Otherwise a stellar shoe.
