Best shoes ever made, you can barely feel the ground
These shoes are the sign of Jesus, God, whatever you believe in. These are a real true steal these shoes right here. Happy is a massive understatement.I have very very bad foot pain, caused by a high arch, severe platar fasciitis with bumps the size of dates which means I can't even use an arthotic insert, and a degenerative bone disorder. Imagine being stabbed in your feet for years at random and getting used to it.I also have bad knees, and a bad back. 5 years of surgery bad.So these shoes, are the best shoes ever made at least in my case and until I find something better which I doubt, I'm only using these. I got the Wide ("2E") version and that gives me a good amount of room, I usually get Wide. The lower cushioned sole stops basically any, any feeling of anything on the ground. The insole inside makes it even better. I tried using a gel insole that worked for about a day then didn't. I placed the brooks insole back in, I should have never taken it out. They are light weighted. The sidings do not jab your sides at all. The Tongue of the shoe is comfortable and fluffy, not tight. They breathe very very well. I walk all day in trecherous environments. No sweat, no heat. The design is very modern I must say they did a very good job there. I'm not the type that wants flashy weird crazy designs and glitter stuff, just basic, nothing crazy no attention, so these are great their design is a great selling point. I hope they continue with that trend for these. You don't need to break these in, like when you put them on, that is what you will continuously get.I myself work in an industry around very heavy equipment, and I have to walk many miles per day (2, 5,15, 20) non stop and fast, while carrying equipment, crazy angles, up ladders, stairs, hills, then standing for long or short periods anywhere between 1-40 minutes, then going again like insanity, for between 8-16+ hours per day, sometimes even more than 24 hours, around concrete, sand, gravel, grass, water, mud, jagged rocks, you name it, every single day.I must say, I have driven with these on. It's an experience you must try it. Why go to a mechanic? Just wear Brooks....I've used Merrell, Keen and Sketchers GoGa Max whatever they're called for years, Sketchers ZenGo Max whatever, was the only thing I could wear but you just can't get away with those puffy light shoes at my job. It seemed like the cheapest pair of foam shoes like that were the only things that would work for me until I got Brooks Ghost 15, which saved me, then I got these Ghost Max 3's a few years later a month ago, and the entire world changed for me.I also have sensitive skin on my feet, so I blister very easily. Any shoes will do that without a proper tight fit which I can't handle. So it turned out I paired these Brooks later on with Silverlight socks for hiking. Those themselves are pretty expensive at $35 a pair (Very well worth it though), but that's what I got in case anyone wants the real true recommended setup for that kind of intense work, or just anyone that wants the complete in total kind of astronaut experience, and I'm sure there are other type of socks, but man, the pairing of these shoes with those socks. Hilton bed all day, marshmallow super man.I'll say the first time I tried the Brooks Ghost Max 1st edition was a few years ago and back then not sure what is different now but before, it felt like the shoe then were giving way too much roll, started hurting my toes. These new ones (Max 3) do not have that issue, and I tried the Max 2, those also did not have that issue. They stabilize your feet just enough.I tried the Glycerine Max's the other day at Dick's Sporting Goods, I will say those are insane with how much pillow they added there it's literally like the pool noodle foam material, except the roll it gives at the end makes you feel like you're not supported at the middle or rear, feels like you're forced to step forward some with those. The Max 3's support you way better than those in the roll in my opinion. So again, another reason why these are the best option. If you get these I recommend getting shoe shaper/tree inserts to keep their shape. My Ghost 15's started curling up after about 2 years of wear, these may not because they're so thick.Side note I also got the Ghost 17's alongside these which are lower height, something bad happened since Ghost 15 I'm not sure what it is. Excellent pair and more cushioning and higher but, something's off. The look and support isn't all the way there. So I'm with Ghost Max all the way.My friend got a pair of White Max 2's, they got dirty very easily fast so I would think twice about White color.- Marshmallow Superman
