The Brooks Hyperion Max 2 is a very good trainer/racing shoe from Brooks. It is a light efficient shoe that is both comfortable and responsive; especially with the speed vault plate that is embedded in the midsole that helps to propel you forward.I have run with Brooks for over 30 years and this is one of the best shoes they have produced.
I absolutely love this shoe from the moment I first put it on. At first when I tried to walk around the room slowly, it seemed a tiny bit unstable, but when I started to run and pick up some pace, turned out to be absolutely amazing and very stable. It's has enough support, does not slow you down and the overall sensation is great. The shoes are light, comfy, very breathable mesh, they dry fast (I run every day in the mornings in a very hot climate). Racing laces - another great thing. There is a lot of space inside, no pain, blisters or discomfort. The color selection is very good, they don't get dirty and the material is easy to clean if needed. Shoe preference differs from person to person, but for me this is the #1 running shoe I've tried so far!

These are incredible shoes!! Highly recommend!!! Have owned several pairs of the Brooks Hyperion Max 2. Great shoe. Fits perfectly. Durable. Excellent for the distance but sleek and light enough to move fast. Responsive. True fit. Shoes arrived promptly and in perfect condition.
Excellent running shoe, great stability and design
Ok I don’t review a lot of shoes. I’ve run 10 plus marathons and ultras. My all time favorite shoe is the original alpha fly to this day. This is not a fake review. I love trying flagship shoes like this, when a new model comes out. I do high mileage so buying the latest thing constantly just feels like a waste. With that said, I’d recommend this shoe for any runner, particularly marathoners or any who does a lot of road work. The cushion is the best of any shoe. It looks thick, but you don’t notice it, in a good way. Feels springy and light. It provides excellent cushioning without a sponge feel. When you switch to a thinner shoe you’ll realize how much this shoe is saving you from impact. For training or racing anything 10 miles or longer you can’t beat it. I have zero blister or tendon issues with this shoe. Every one has different feet, but I often have immediate Achilles pain when trying new shoes, especially adidas. This shoe for, me is perfect. The only shoe better is the og Alphafly, which is impossible to get now. This shoe despite no plate, feels super fast, and lasts far longer than most carbon racing shoes. I can’t recommend this shoe enough. It’s discounted because of the newer models. For $150 or less it’s very worth it. I had to buy several pairs after trying it.
Amazing running shoe coming from both Brooks Ghost 16 and Ghost Max 2. Much lighter shoe, surprisingly supportive shoe. Give it a shot!
