Shoe looks great, fits great and is comfortable to run in. Unfortunately it’s the end of Brooks Launch shoe.
After trying several premium brands including Hoka, Asics, and Nike Air (even their most expensive models), I had to return them all due to a toe injury. What made the Brooks Men's Launch GTS 10 stand out was its excellent heel drop, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. The best part is that these shoes are more affordable than the other brands I tried.I've been using these shoes daily for both running and gym workouts, and they've proven to be a game-changer. Since switching to the Launch GTS 10, my toe pain has almost completely disappeared. The comfort and support these shoes provide have made them an essential part of my fitness routine. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with toe injuries or seeking a shoe with proper heel drop support.
Fabulous shoes! Great Fit and great value
Very comfortable, stylish, good for walking/running. However I treated mine with water repellent spray to mitigate cleaning. They get dirty very easily especially at the tip
This is the man of the house & purchaser of these Brooks Launch GTS shoes. I am no longer running. I wear running shoes for walking and everyday use. First time trying this shoe. This is a good choice for those with hallux rigidus (arthritis toe) like myself. Out of the box the shoe is rather stiff, as I expected and as I prefer. I'm guessing they will soften over time. Also as expected, there is a forward rocker for a toe-off that avoids fully flexing the arthritic big toe. It's working well for me so far. I find the Launch GTS true to size and narrower than average running shoes. However, my feet are super-narrow, so even in this 'narrow' shoe I still end-up with cinched eyelets and laces that are way too long. So it's narrow, but not super-narrow. No qualms about the toe box from me, but for wider feet you may feel cramped. In size 12.5 the laces are 54". They are flat ribbon cheap polyester type which are slippery and near impossible to handle with my OG arthritic fingers. I have already upgraded to shorter, better quality laces at my own expense. I purchased the Launch GTS on special so I did not pay a high price for this shoe. That said, at everyday prices Brooks is a spendy brand. The laces should not be a disappointment. The Asics shoes I recently purchased came with superb laces. Why not Brooks?
Every year brooks seems to do the impossible: improve on the previous version.Likes: as usual, brooks shed a little weight, which is always huge for me, especially when the quality is still there. The tongue doesn't irritate my skin like the previous version. The toe area seems to not cause holes in my socks like the previous version.Dislikes: same as usual, mileage, or lack of. Can't seem to get even close to 400 miles. 300 at most, and that's not always the case. But the bottom line is the pros out way the only con, so I'm sold, as usual.
Very comfortable. Lasts as long as can be expected for this type of shoe. Not very wide considering this is a men's shoe.
