Great shoe but ugly color. The only shoe that works for my foot problem. Now Brooks has discontinued the shoe and i got the last one in my size on the internet. Very disappointing.

Comfortable..

Comfortable.... the arch was initially a little more than I am used to - but after two days of wearing them they have shaped to my foot. I do wish they were a bit more cushy (thus the 4 stars) - But they are far superior to the basic Nikes I had been wearing. I purchased these at the recommendation of my Podiatric Physical Therapist... I'm glad I did. My feet feel so supported.

ASR 14 are 1/2" Shorter and Narrow compared to ASR 13

I have an old pair of ASR 13 that have lasted me five years. They are looking old now and have a hole in the toe (after 5 years). My ASR 13 are so comfortable and fit perfect. I was excited to order the ASR 14. However, when I tried them on, I can feel that they were not quite the same size as my ASR 13 even though they are both size 8. I measured both and the ASR 13 are 1/2" more narrow and 1/2" shorter. So disappointed on the sizing. Other than that, they seem to be as well made as my old pair.

Terrible version

As an avid trail runner, it’s so so important to find shoes that not only grip well, but shoes that fit well. These shoes, after months of wear are STILL giving me blisters, bad ones, too. They are the same size that I normally get, so I don’t know why it’s happening, but it’s really annoying.I bought these shoes because I am a severe overpronator and I had completely worn out my asr 12s. Those shoes were AMAZING and kept my ankles steady and where they needed to be. These shoes however are TERRIBLE at stablizition of the ankle. I have twisted my ankle, fallen, and limped back to my car multiple times with the 14s, and I’m so completely over it. The only reason these get even 2 stars is that they’re built well and haven’t starting breaking down, even from heavy trail use. If I could take them back, I would. I hope the next version is better.
