These are better than what I actually expected. The wear good and not hard and don't have to be broken in. They do run about 1/2 size small. I wear a 6.5 in shoes and I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. I have Plantar Fascists and Achilles Tendonitis in the same foot, double whammy, huh... I have tried on I bet two dozen plus different brand shoes/styles and finally I went to a store and tried on some Brooks and I liked the way they felt so I came home did my research and decided these were the best Orthopedic recommended ones and I ordered them and fell in love with them. This week is the first week I have been out and about in shoes since June, not that darn boot and yesterday was a blessing. No pain, no nothing when I got home, so yes I am sold on them and I am getting ready to order another pair just like these.

Comfortable and nice neutral colors choices
I was excited for this new deisgn from Brooks. We are a Brooks family, and as comfortable as their shoes are, the shoes quicky develop some holes on upper front, expecially when worn by teens. Our first time trying the Ghost line, and this new design has some leather linings on the exterior and appear very durable. Bonus for the neutral colors selection, maybe some darker shades? However, as much as I want to like this model, they are way too bulky for my slender teen. Each shoe (9.5) is the size of his head, no joke. I can see someone with a heavier build use these though, they do give lots of support and very comfotable to slide in and out. Hope Brooks will have similar exterior finish for their other lines, such as Adrenaline and Beast.

Ugly shoes with no suede
I wear all black Brooks shoes that are cute so I’m not discriminating on these shoes just because they’re all black. These are the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even take the time to try them on.What really made me mad was the false advertising. They clearly sat leather and suede. However, guess what? There is no suede on these shoes.I’m sure they are comfortable and good for your feet, plus they are diabetic-approved shoes. They are most likely functional, have a good fit and have good arch support. That’s why I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 1 star.Please be advised that you can buy other Brooks shoes that have all those features but are super cute with no false advertising. I got the Brooks Ghost 2 shoes and the Brooks Ariel 24 shoes. Adorable shoes and also diabetic approved, good fit, functional, and good arch support.I don’t recommend these shoes because of the false advertising, no suede (and I spent $18 unrefundable Crep to treat them), and they’re just plain ugly. No offense.

Relieved to find that these shoes fit after ordering my usual 6.5. I had read many reviews stating that these fit on the small side, but they feel like a perfect fit with room for the natural stretch to feel even better. I have a narrow foot and PF so the heel cushioning is a must-have, which this shoe has.. I had just returned a Vionic shoe for lacking in heel cushioning, so I am so glad this Brooks has that! Also love that they are leather upper for easy cleaning vs the knit mesh many of the shoes have now. I love the look (kinda trendy nowadays), fit, comfort, cushioning and color (white). Pricey, but worth it. Added to my “go-to” shoe list!
