One of My All-Time Favorites!

I absolutely love these Brooks Caldera 6 trail running shoes! They’re super comfortable, supportive, and feel great even after long walks or hikes. The cushioning is perfect, and they have great traction on all kinds of terrain. Definitely one of my all-time favorite shoes — worth every penny! 👟💖

Be a little patient...

I was interested in these because they looked comfortable and rugged. I also love the black bottoms. I am so sick of white soles/bottoms on most athletic shoes that look immediately filthy. Anyway, I bought my regular size and a half size larger as some reviews mentioned they run small. They definitely ran true-to-size for me. My feet had too much extra room in the half size larger. The shoes felt cushiony but very stiff and squished my feet in the width a bit. I am always wary of shoes that are not immediately comfortable and have to be broken in. My Glycerins were wonderfully comfortable from the very start and I expected that from these new Brooks. I loved the look of these and REALLY wanted them to work, so I wore them inside my house for an hour every day for a week. Slowly, they felt more and more comfortable and less snug across my forefoot. I took them on a quick two mile walk around my neighborhood and they were awesome! I have worn them now for a few walks and am very happy with them. The width feels great, the arch support is good (not too high and not too weak) and the soles have a cushiony, rocker-feel to them. The bottom line is... be patient, consider that they may need a little breaking in before they work for you, unlike other Brooks which are perfect out of the box. For me, they ultimately worked out quite well!

All day YES on these!

Game changer! I needed a good, quality, supportive pair of sneakers to walk in comfortably after having two back to back spinal surgeries. First, the color…amazing! No way I won’t be seen lapping the hood in these! But, the most important part of this purchase for me is the support and comfort. The insoles are super cushiony, they’re a dream! What I find was a bonus for me is I’ve always been someone that walks with my ankles turned in. I don’t know how they’ve done it, but the soles of these shoes don’t seem to allow me to walk ‘inside’, saving my soles and saving my ankles! They somehow force me to walk straight! Don’t ask me how, I’m not a professional and am not well versed on the inner workings of sneaker making. But, these give me so much support and comfort that they are a game changer! I still have to wear my back brace when I walk, but these are giving me alot more comfort and I seem to be able to get around just a bit more before I have to rip off my back brace and lie down! That’s saying a lot! Best purchase of 2024! I highly recommend these for long walks or runs. Great support, and dang cute!

Very good choice

Comfort:Comfortable and “squishy”. Stylish but they are bulkier than a regular running shoe.

Great shoes for a pro-dog walker!! Comfort right out of the box!

I don't often find a shoe that I like right out of the box. I put in a lot of miles walking dogs on a mix of street, sidewalk and trail surfaces, so I thought I would go with a running shoe for trails. These were comfortable right out of the box. Didn't have to mess with putting in an orthotic or better cushion, which is a first for quite a long time. My feet aren't exactly the same size, so the big arch support in a lot of shoes hits me wrong on one side or the other. These Brooks have a neutral arch which is comfortable for both feet, and the toe box is roomy enough without being clunky. I am likely going to order another pair of these just so that I have another pair before they aren't available anymore! I like the wide base for stability and the support and cushion is the best I've had lately, so I'm very satisfied!! Highly recommend!!

Happy with these for trail running

Over the last couple years I've decided to take up trail running. More specifically I've got addicted to Ragnar trail races. I knew that I needed some decent running trail shoes and decided on these. I have been a pretty loyal Brooks fan for the last 5 years.I read a lot of reviews on shoes before buying these. They are on the more cushion side, which I read some pros and some cons on that. Since I do most of my running in the road, I figured a more cushioned shoe would be good. I also suffer from Achilles tendonitis and calcaneus bursitis, so I wanted something with a decent heel drop.Overall, these have held up very well. They've been extremely comfortable to run in and clean up nicely. I think they look great and function well. When my 20-year-old did the last regular with me I bought her the same shoes, next generation, and she loved them as well!

So I'm sad about this.......

Over a year ago I bought two pairs of shoes; the Brooks Caldera 4 and Hoka's Challenger ATR 6 models - I wanted to break them in at the same time and compare the two. For me, the Brooks Caldera 4 was a clear winner - they fit perfectly and I was able to hit the ground running with little to no break-in time. Because I was rotating the two pair they lasted longer, so by the time I was ready to replace them, the Brooks Caldera 4 were no longer available. By then the Caldera 6 was on the market so I bypassed the 5 model and bought what I assumed was the newest and greatest model in the 6. These fit differently and they look HUGE which was one of my issues with the Hoka's. The thick, cushy footbed the these Caldera 6 look amazing but because the shoe fits too tightly in other areas, I don't get to enjoy the cushiness because my feet are hurting elsewhere. It's unfortunate because so far I haven't been able to wear them more than a couple hours or so before they start to hurt. The window to return them as passed which is frustrating because you have to break in shoes before you know of they'll work for you :-( I should have used my experience with the 4's to know that if they weren't right out of the box, they weren't going to work for me.
