The most comfortable dress shoes ever
Most Bruno Magli shoes are made from Nappa leather, which is created from (in the case of the Maioco at least) goat skin, yielding a softer and more supple upper than is possible with calf leather. The result is certainly the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn, and possibly that you'll ever wear. The vamp of the shoe is high enough to comfortably accommodate a dress-length orthotic.Style-wise, these are simply gorgeous shoes, just like what you'd see in the pages of GQ or on the runways of Europe's fashion capitals. The slightly tapered toe lends a slenderer silhouette, which is stylish without being trendy - still conservative enough for even the most straitlaced office environments. The stitching on the bottom of the shoe is concealed in a special channel, a hallmark of fine shoe construction which results in a cleaner, more polished appearance. The Maioco, simply put, looks rich, and will doubtless elevate any outfit to a higher level.

Be sure to take note of what they say regarding sizing. I ordered the proper size down and they fit perfectly. The leather is very high quality. The stitching is very high quality. They are very comfortable for all day wear including walking. The sides that come close to your ankles is very soft while remaining stable. I am a huge fan and will be ordering a pair of the same ones in dark brown very soon.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SHOEBUY
I do not usually report on transactions with Amazon as they are usually smooth and without issue. This however has been the worst experience I've ever had with an online vendor. Let me start by saying these shoes, when not defective, are comfortable and worth their price. However, shoebuy did not provide me with a good product. I received these shoes as my wedding shoes. I left them in the box until closer to the wedding and then opened it up tried them on and my fiance noticed that one shoe had a crease where the other didn't. She didn't like it and asked me to exchange them for a new pair. I contacted shoebuy, reported the defect and asked to exchange - they could not process the exchange in time for our wedding (which was abroad) so I returned them and purchased the same shoe from Nordstrom. I was out of the country for three weeks waiting for word that the return was processed but no word - three emails during my honeymoon later I finally receive a response from shoe buy DENYING MY RETURN based on their assertion that the shoes were not returned in the same state they were in when delivered. I did try these shoes on but NEVER WORE THEM and did not cause the DEFECT the shoes suffered (a crease in the left shoe). No matter to shoebuy - I've spoken to several customer support representatives and a manager all of whom reviewed the pictures that shoebuy took of the shoes (with a flash to extenuate any marks or scuffs) all of whom simply denied the return and refused to take responsibility for their faulty product. As it stands now, I am disputing the charge with american express but I have little hope for cooperation from shoe buy. They will not accept the return, will not acknowledge their mistake, will not act as a sensible business and take back their own faulty product and will not do anything to help me. I am out $400 because of their horrible return policies and over-the-top effort to dump their defective product on their customer. I urge all Amazon customers to look elsewhere when making purchases of expensive shoes - this company is irresponsible and does not practice a sensible and customer focused business. They are simply unwilling to take any responsibility for a defective product and instead expect customers to bear the expense of being sent a bad pair of shoes.
