Excellent quality, not for wide feet
For the right feet, these are probably a fantastic shoe. The quality is excellent and they come is a lovely storage box. Sadly for me, my feet are too wide for these to be comfortable without assistance. I’m trying to break them in anyway, because the other pair I have for work fits worse.I have wide feet with high arches and a tendency for my heel tendon area to blister with shoes that are stiff and about that height. It makes it terribly difficult to find shoes that fit me well, which is why I’m only marking these down a little. For narrower feet these are probably perfect.

Flats Shoes for Everyday Comfort
We ordered these Mary Jane flats for our oldest daughter heading back to her sophomore year, and they've become her absolute favorite. She needed something that could handle walking across campus all day but still look pulled-together for classes or a coffee date.The winning feature is the buckle strap. It keeps the shoe securely on her foot so she's not constantly shuffling or gripping with her toes, a problem she's had with other slip-ons. She says the footbed is surprisingly cushioned for such a sleek-looking flat, and the round toe gives her plenty of room, no pinching.She loves the classic, clean look. The simple buckle adds just enough detail to make them more interesting than a basic ballet flat. They’ve held up well to daily wear; the material still looks new after a couple of months, and the construction feels solid. She did mention they're best for cooler days, as the synthetic material isn't the most breathable in peak heat.For a busy college student who needs reliable, comfortable, and versatile shoes, these have been a perfect fit. They look great with jeans, dresses, and everything in between. Based on how much she wears them, we'd definitely recommend buying them.

Updated slim Mary Janes are lightweight and comfortable.
I ordered these C.Paravano Women's Flats because I loved the design; the black Mary Jane style is updated by the slim lines, and I knew these would look great with my everyday clothing as well as with some of my vintage and period style costume pieces.I have a pretty messed up spine (fusions, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, spinal stimulator) and I almost always have to wear flats. I have mobility issues, and flats are easiest for me to wear. These cute, Mary Jane strapped flats have a sort of Alice in Wonderland aesthetic; the long, slim lines, wide strap, and silver toned grommets and hardware dress the shoes up a bit.These shoes are made from faux leather; the sales page calls this micro fiber, so I looked it up. This is a high quality PU leather; it’s lightweight and flexible, and I found it quite comfortable to wear, though it didn’t breathe as well as regular real leather. My feet got warm in these shoes, though, to be fair, it’s in the high 80s and 90s right now in NYC where I live.The sales page says these are lined in lambskin; the shoe bed was slightly padded, and I found these shoes flexible and comfortable straight out of the box; I didn’t need to break these in gradually.I ordered my usual size (9) and found these fit pretty well; they were a touch long in the toes, but not so much that I noticed when walking.At the current price ($129.97) I’ll admit I was a bit surprised to discover these were made of faux leather. That being said, it’s very high quality PU leather; sitting next to a pair of my leather loafers, I can’t see a real difference between the real and faux black leather. The shoes are nicely made, sturdy, and should hold up well. They have a boutique feel and feel great for walking; we walk everywhere in the city. I was pleased to be able to try these through the Vine program; these would be a bit beyond my family’s current budget, but I would say they deliver excellent quality. They are definitely similar to other shoes I’ve owned at similar price points in terms of fit, construction, and comfort.These come beautifully packaged; I felt like I was starring in my own unboxing video as I opened up the box and unwrapped the shoes from layers of heavy paper and soft fabric shoe bags. Each shoe arrived with padding in the toes and cardboard stretchers to help the flats keep their shape. You can keep the heavy branded paper and light shoe bags for storage.I love this update on a simple Mary Jane; these look great with my skirts and dresses, and even with jeans. My family loves costumes; these also look great under Victorian and even Regency dresses; they aren’t perfect period shoes, but the slim lines and flat silhouette work well under layers of skirts and petticoats.These came with a card from the company and a two pack of soft stickers you could put in the heel, or anyplace else the shoe might rub. I didn’t need them, but it was a nice added touch.
