Nice shoes I love it
Fit nice, very comfortable.
I bought these shoes about 6 years ago and maybe they are different now. But those shoes back then, did not supply anywhere near the height increase that they claimed to have. In my opinion, this was truly deceptive advertising. I needed dress shoes right away for a funeral, so I could not send them back. I would never buy from that company again
Once broken in, decent comfort. Seriously, with the rise, kinda like a woman learning to walk in heels, I suppose. I do feel more confident being a couple of inches taller. Let's go take on the world!
Nice and comfortable, better than boots
The shoes look nice. For under $100 I can't really complain to much on the quality but was a little disappointed that I have only worn these shoes for 2 days and the creases at the toes are worse than a pair (Dockers Pro Style Black Oxford, $65 on Amazon at time of this review)) that I have worn for 5 years. The description says they add over 3 inches to your height and saying this is deceptive is an understatement.I get about an extra inch of height (from barefoot) with my Dockers which is just about normal. This pair of shoes is about 2 inches (if I am being generous) from barefoot so barely an inch over any normal shoe. I would not have felt deceived had they said 2 or even 2 and a quarter inches. But saying you get over 3 is an outright lie.The shoes do take a little getting used to but overall are fairly comfortable. I mean, don't get me wrong, they aren't like walking on clouds or anything but about what you expect from a pair of "dress" shoes. I wore them two days in a row all day at work (I am in sales, visit peoples' homes, etc) and no sore feet from them. I will say that there is some mild discomfort in the muscles around my knees and calves just from getting used to walking slightly more towards my toes than my feet because of the way they are designed. All in all a good purchase for the price. I likely would have given this a 4 or maybe even 5 stars had there not been over 30% discrepancy in the description of height increase vs what was actually there or if the shoes were $30-$40 cheaper as the actual quality of the shoes is consistent with what you expect in the $50-$70 range. The biggest question you should ask before buying these over another pair is if an extra inch is worth another $30-40.I am 5'9" barefooted.5'10" with my normal shoes (Dockers Pro Style)5'11" with these, size US 11½.(height measurements +/- ¼")
Second time I am buying this model. Its an exact fit and takes some time to become comfortable. One can buy half a size large. Leather quality is good and retains its shape well. The rubber base on the heal has started coming off after around 20 months of regular use on my previous purchase. So I am buying this replacement. But overall give you good elevation boost and works well for regular office wear. I also found it to be cheaper than similar offerings in this bracket.
