Overall this is a good shoe. I wear this shoe about 3 - 4 days a week 10 hours a day from blacktop, to concrete, tile, and carpet. The sole has little wear after several months. The leather looks great. The height increase is amazing. Definitely a transition at first. The laces are another story. I bought several Calto shoes and most laces have broke within a few weeks. I have broke laces before on different shoes over the years but never within weeks. I doubt Calto will supply better laces in the future so buy better laces upon arrival of your new Calto shoes. I would love this type of lug sole shoe in a waterproof version. In any case I would recommend these shoes.

Large Interior, Not Uncomfortable
I've had two ankle surgeries so I was worried that these would be too uncomfortable for me. Happy to say the interior is large enough to fit my large necessary orthotics so they are functional and still remain comfortable for my 9-5 or a night out. After you break them in, you will love these.

Very good looking and well built
What I didn't like about these is that the width is a bit narrow and they hurt my feet. The length is great. I am a size 12 US fit. I was told these run big and got a size 11. They were a bit painful to widen by wearing them in, so eventually I got shoe trees to help widen them. That helped but hasn't been perfect.However I can manage to wear them for a few hours, and the look is great. After some back injuries I got almost 20 years ago, I lost about 2 inches in height. These shoes have helped me regain that stature. I love how fashionable they are. If I order again from them I will get my actual size in the hopes they will be wider. I got a second pair of shoes, different model but same company, and those fit perfectly.

Good looking boots
It’s been years I’m buying this brand shoes CALTO , I like some I don’t like some, this one is the only boot from this brand doesn't looks weird and looks like normal boot although it has almost 3 inches height increase, good quality and worth the money highly recommended.

OK for what they are
These are my go-to shoes for formal events because they look OK. However, they are cheaply made and uncomfortable. One pair I owned started to come apart at the seams. They could improve the product by inserting a bit more padding or make the "leather" just a bit more stretchy.
