They work and deliver on their promise.
(Original review first - But adding a 1 week of wearing update at the bottom... And a couple week review under that, with pic)I have only 1 complaint so I'll start with that: the shoe laces these come with suck. They are so short by the time you lace up and tie the shoes you're working with like 2 inches of lace so if you manage to tie the knot it's this tiny little thing and easily comes untied because it's like some 'fancy' flat shoelace with like shiny material on it or something...I'm still giving 5 stars though because it cost me less than 5 bucks at my nearest store to just buy some brown 60" boot laces that are soooo much more comfortable and easy to tie (because you actually have room in these shoes). With the included laces the shoes are so tight on your feet so having the extra slack is good...If you read my review and find yourself in my position your answer is 60" replacement laces. Now the actual shoe: Excellent. They are comfortable enough - lets be real there is a giant 2" hard platform in these so you can't set the bar super high - I would absolutely dread to go hiking or for a long shift at work wearing these unless you do some modifications to the sole with some gel inserts or something but for casual every day wear? Perfect. You cannot tell at all that these are platform shoes and they look nice and business casual. I'm normally 5'11" and these got me standing at 6'2".Worth the price? I suppose. There's shoes that look like this for 40 bucks I suppose you could go cheapo and put in some inserts but these are good. I don't regret the purchase. The shoe laces though changed the whole game with these shoes though... If swapping into new shoe laces wasn't an option I'd probably rate these a 2/5 and return. (seller/manufacterer . . . if you're listening throw in a free pair of 60" brown laces, it'll cost you pennies)1 week update: I stand by everything I said in my review - I wore these for a 10 hour shift at work and hooooly hell my feet hurt by the end of the day. Numb pinky toes and walking with my shoes off felt like heaven for like 15 minutes when I got home but the pain lingers for the next day or 2. I would absolutely not make it a habit to wear these full time. I actually ripped out the super thin soles in these and replaced them with some Dr. Scholls gel inserts but even that isn't really enough (but DOES help). I wish I could add even more padding or an even thicker sole with padding but there really isn't room inside the shoe for that. I still recommend you copy me though and find a padded sole you can add in yourself - may require you to glue it in as well because otherwise what ever sole you add with slowly work its way down to your toes because of how the shoe works. You gotta glue it in.***Couple weeks later ended up buying a high quality insert and now these shoes are comfortable and functional. Forgive me for not cleaning these up before pictures but I wear these daily now since with good inserts they don't hurt my feet. My only complaint is the tongue kinda sticks out (see pic) because of how your foot sits in the shoe....or it's just an oversight in the design of the shoe. Still 5 stars, looks good, I get compliments on the shoes and have been considered "the tall guy" in random group settings with these shoes on lolIncluded pics of the inserts I'm using - and I replaced the shoe strings as you can see with some regular brown 60" boot strings
