These elevator shoes are great for what they're intended for. They do increase your height. The sizing is true to form and the product description. The material is quality and construction is well done. They are reasonably comfortable. For the money, they appear to be average in price comparison.

The coolest shoes I've ever worn
These 'CALTO Men's Invisible Height Increasing Elevator Shoes - Super Lightweight Knitted Sporty Sneakers' are so amazing and surprising that I actually laughed out loud (in a good way) when I first put them on.Until I came across the listing for these shoes, I had never tried elevator shoes and to be honest I didn't even know what they were. The listing said they would add 2.4 inches of height and I was intrigued. The pictures shown didn't look like they were any taller than a typical shoe, and that's because the actual lift takes place inside the shoe where nobody else can see. So when you wear these, no one can tell from the outside that you're augmenting your height.Here's a rundown of what you get:Opening the box you get the shoes, each in their own individual cloth bag, which I thought was cool and very classy. There's also a handy shoe horn and a catalog showing a vast array of other elevator shoes available.Now on to the fit. Reading another review on here that stated the sizes ran small, I went with a size 11 instead of my usual 10.5, and they fit great. I can see how a half size smaller might hug the foot a little tighter, but personally I like to have a little breathing room, and my size 11s feel great. I have very wide feet so the fact that these shoes also have a stretchy quality makes them very comfortable for me. So these are pretty much true to size, with any variations depending on your own personal tastes, whether you like them a tad snug or a tad roomy. And remember you can adjust the laces for a perfect fit. Mine don't slip on the heel at all, despite the half size up.The material is breathable, which is another nice bonus, and the design isn't gaudy or absurd looking; you can wear them for casually or for work.Finally, a word about the height. I measured my height to the best of my ability with a bathroom mirror and a pencil mark on the wall; once while wearing the shoes and a second time in my bare feet. The difference was 1.75 to 2 inches added to my normal height. The listing says 2.4 inches but my methods were less than perfect so I can't say the listing is inaccurate. What I will say is that these shoes are great; they made me feel so much taller which really added to my confidence. Seriously, I was striding around pretending I was Darth Vader looking down on everyone around me. It was pretty cool.On a final note, the quality of these shoes is really impressive. They're well built and that is very clear the moment you take them out of the box. I'm glad they included a catalog of other styles in elevator shoes because I think I'll be wearing them exclusively from now on.

These shoes look and feel like regular sneakers but give that subtle boost in height without it being obvious. They are lightweight and the knitted material is breathable which keeps my husband's feet from feeling too warm. However, he did state that it felt awkward at first and it does end up feeling uncomfortable after a whole day's worth of wear. They definitely add the extra height as described while still looking casual and sporty but not worth wearing daily.

They don't look like elevator shoes, they look like normal shoes

The toe box is more comfortable than most (they're not as comfortable as the extra wide toe boxes, in my view at least; but they have the advantage of looking more normal or mainstream than those shoes look). They are well constructed.For the purposes of height elevation while looking normal, these are definitely five stars.
